I feel bad for Titanosaurus, originally, before he was discovered by humans he was described as being very docile and friendly not willing to attack anyone or anything.
That would be ruined when the scientist who discovered him used a computer to mind control him.
And the Simian Aliens from Black Hole Planet 3
@@michaellynes3540 There you go, thanks.
Yeah,I loved him as a kid.
Titanosaurus is one of my favorite Kaijus from the Godzilla franchise, and I really want to read what is possible the only unofficial solo story.
Same
“He definitely plays way too rough with his bath toys!”
-Brandon Tenold
So now Miser Titano can stand along with MechaGodzilla, Mechani-Kong, Mecha King Ghidorah, and Cyber Zilla.
I fell for Titanosaurus he got turned into a cyborg, given artificial intelligence, and basically watches the other robots he saw as brothers die in front of him I'm glad Titanosaurus basically started a rebellion
i feel sorry for titanosaurus first being mind controlled now his only friends being murdered
Note: For those waiting for the Godzilla the Series Season 2 review, I'm still currently working on it. Till then Please enjoy this video (and maybe 2 more) until the full season 2 review is finished.
Thank you for your patience.
Take your time
Your welcome and second.
Your right not alot of us Godzilla fans knew about this
Any plans to do a video on the 2001 Kong cartoon?
Hmm... potential reasons to want to revive Katsura: it's ALIEN tech. They could in theory remove the device.. but don't want to risk destroying it. Also they just don't know how to make it work. again, alien tech, perhaps the only example on Earth of this type of device.
This is a great story. I would've loved to see this as a film. The human plot of Terror of Mechagodzilla is deeply tragic
The problem with this, the controller for _Titanosaurus_ was never _inside_ Katsura; that was the controller for _Mechagodzilla._ Titanosaurus was always controlled via a computer console.
It's weird because Titanosaurus definitely has potential to be his own Monster outside of the influence of Godzilla. But because this is a sequel to the movie that is definitely in-canon, it only just raises questions. Probably the biggest question is, why is this story about Titanosaurus about a future with Robots Mining the Sea-Floor? Cause it seems like the only reason Titanosaurus is now a Cyborg is because he needs to be able to lead a rebellion of Robots Mining the Sea-Floor...
But more to the point; because of the _legality_ of this situation, the fact that Godzilla and Mechagodzilla _can't be mentioned_ in this story, is a rather glaring omission. They don't even have to mention them by name; they could just explain that Titanosaurus was greatly burned after fighting another monster opponent; they eventually found him in critical condition where they implemented the cybernetics to save his life or something...
Come to think of it...the story never explains _why_ they have a cyborg-Titanosaurus on their mining team. Why? What do they use him for?
Never underestimate what capitalism won't do to exploit and make a buck.
Despite being from a respectable source, this story still reads like a typical fanfic: some interesting concepts, but ultimately flawed.
@@spacepolicemanofspace6073 That's more a legal issue than a capitalist issue.
Buddy….. only a fraction of Godzilla movies made any sense. Let it ride.
I have recently wondered if Terror of Mechagodzilla could have worked with just Titanosaurus
Very cool artwork design for Mecha-Titano! I also had no idea this even existed, thanks for sharing man!
Same here man
Toho Kingdom. Haven’t heard that name in ages. Brings back so many childhood memories.
I know right? I miss the good o' days, nowadays it just seems bland for me personally.
Titanosaurus is my favorite Godzilla monster. I really wish he’d return in some form.
Same here bud! Such an awesome Kaiju
Same. The only tooth and claw kaiju that could go toe to toe with Big G.
@@theflyxx definitely
We all got bamboozled when we saw the trailer to Godzilla Singular Point and believed it was Titanosaurus.
Only to be slapped in the face and told that it was just Godzillas aquatic form.... I feel cheated....but yeah it would be awesome to see Titanosaurus on film again.
What a fun story. A bit sad too. Always felt like the Godzilla monsters could have their own side stories outside of Godzilla's own. Example. People love movies with environmental messages. Titano vs Hedorah maybe? Halfway through the movie Titano is joined by Biolante. (because Hedorah is constantly changing its form). And that way much like how Godzilla and Mothra are a Duo. Titano and Biolante are a duo. Sounds fun? haha next Godzilla game we better get a machinima mode like the old Halo games. We would have so many more fan movies. It's be fun. Anyway great video Paper Finz. More like these!!!
Titanosaurus is definitely one of my favorite showa era kaiju, honestly he is also a sympathetic kaiju like Kong, Kong is sympathetic because of his loneliness and being the last of his kind but he never actively attacked humans unless they actually threatened him, he is rather curious and gentle towards humans who don't threaten him. Titanosaurus was rather friendly, curious, gentle, maybe even playful but the saddest part is he was used as a weapon and forced into being a violent creature, it wasn't really his fault as he was being controlled by a mad scientist and aliens hellbent on conquer. They were the ones who forced him to attack japan, who controlled him making him a violent monster and forced him into fighting Godzilla. I think this story is rather unique and pretty sad. Even if the story is not perfect and has flaws, even after being used as a weapon in Terror Of Mechagodzilla and turned into a cyborg monster, Titanosaurus still had his loving nature deep down, that ending with Katsura laying in Titanosaurus's palm as she becomes lifeless really was heartbreaking. I wish titanosaurus had his own movie, he is a very interesting monster with alot of potential, its just sad like some other kaiju, he has never had the chance to be fully explored and was just a one off monster.
This is interesting, why don’t get stuff like this more often, like maybe with something that has Toho and Tsuburaya influences?
Even after 100 years the modern weapons from the military can't kill a kaiju let alone a giant dinosaur like kaiju like titanosaurus
To be fair he did become a cyborg
I loved this Kaiju when I first saw the film. I noticed that Titano was a good guy but he was being controlled by the scientist? Idk that's what I think
And now he is litteraly a fish mechagodzilla
@@chadgorosaurus4898 yup
I love Titanosaurus, and this video sure was a pretty good one.
Titanosaurus would probably be one of the easier kaiju to incorporate into the Monsterverse. His design could be tweaked to match with a lot of the recent discoveries pertaining to Spinosaurus's biology.
Titano is a good kaiju, even as a half robot,he's a good guy,or kaiju,or cybotrg,i dont know what he is mainly
great editing!👍
Considering that this takes place 100 years after Terror of MechaGodzilla, it's safe to say that Godzilla and the earth monsters are probably dead by now
I don't think so, taking into account that it is said that godzilla 1954 lived for millions of years, surely godzilla's life expectancy allows him to survive beyond 100 years and assuming that this is not the case, there would be a new mothra larva, baragon, command and varan from destroy all adult monsters and adult minilla.
and if they had died, I had mentioned it
Love these videos!
Me too pal
I never heard about this! Fascinating!! ❤️
U DESERVE MORE SUBS!!! 🦖
Titano as a machine is epic ngl
looks like jet jaguar had a secret child
Oh shit man I gotta go and read this I had no idea this got a fan translation.
With a few tweaks to the story, this would be great.
Damn….I’ve never even heard of this story until watching this. This would make a seriously kick ass movie and the ending is very heartwarming somewhat. I’m glad Titanosaurus has some more recognition.
Him and Godzilla would make a good team
This is really interesting and it makes me wonder what a sequel to the showa era would look like
I hate AI going rogue storys, they are stupid and predictable.
Though the ending was pretty good and it's nice to hear more about Titanosaurus.
Looking forward to buying some Godzilla Comics they have very interesting stories.
I love this and it is so cool
I really like it. Wouldn't mind a proper sequel
Hey man! Love your video. Do you think you could talk about Frankenstein vs. Godzilla?
Wow, this is very interesting.
Sealab 2020...
If you're looking for me, you better check under the sea
Ayyyy the Blinx ost, nice touch
I’m hoping for Titanosaurus to return in the Monsterverse
I love that monster my favorite monster too
This was great thanks very much. I'm happy titanosaurus changed into a cyborg. Very awesome
This story sounds pretty cool tbh
Rip titanosaurus we still honor you😢❤❤
Edit: lost his family, himself, and his friends poor titanosaurus😭😭😫😢❤❤
Edit: titano will now join the fallen souls of the robot kaijus😢❤
Fun fact: Wikizilla says that Titanosaurs was the last original Godzilla foe in a movie until the M.U.T.O.s in Godzilla [2014]
That was good.
Katsura looks so beautiful in the comics, and her pseudo-name, Lady Kei, is very catchy.
Groovy.
0:03 top ten saddest anime deaths
I have a lot of questions about this story.
1 Why are the facts of destroy all monsters not mentioned?
2. godzilla and mechagodzilla are not mentioned, nor are the simians
3. If titanosaurus is attacking Japan why does godzilla, mothra, or any other kaiju do anything about it
4.and as a mining company has a titanosaurus mecha and not the Japanese government or the United Nations.
Miastro Titano should appear in one of the new movies.
I always wondered why Titanosaurus, Megalon, Batra, Biolante, Megaguirus, and Jet Jaguar were absent from Godzilla: Final Wars
I heard that a lot of the choices were based on if they needed to rebuild the suits. The budget they had for the film was apparently strained as hard as they could already.
This is fucking amazing. I hope this happens in Godzilla eventually. Should have this happen in The Legend Films. The Robots marching alongside Titaonosaurus as an astonished Karsura watches would be kino. Kinda like the forced romantic subplot too. Pretty kino. Very Late 60s/Early 70s. Titanosaurus being able to speak and hold complex thought and that tying into the romantic subplot while theyre escaping the city. If you could somwhow force Godzilla in there i think this could actually be pretty cool.
Review monster island buddies next!!!!
Your first drawing of the doctor, kind of resembles Ironwood from RWBY.
Titanosaurs just broke my heart good lord it seems no Kaiju can have a friend or happiness or peace that just sucks man
I’m more interested in exactly how Katsura can still be revived as herself after having been dead for over a century…
Please do a video on “Cozzilla”.
If he were to reappear, I think he'd work better as a quadruped
2: 39: judging by that footage you used, your familiar with the Hanna-Barbera classic Sealab 2020, witch the adult swam program, Sealab 2021 is a parody of, might I interest you in a collab. Review of it??????
A crazed design of the amphibious beast, couldn't Godzilla fought him in ocean make more experience for the film, or even to c if MechaGodzilla can b waterproof or not?
sounds like a set up for Bio Shock
Am I the only one who thinks little one looks like jet jaguar 3:20
Your not alone
PaperFinz intentionally drew him to look like jet
I could care less for Titano but sure do love Katsura! Thanks for the info.
hey Paper Finz are doing mech x4 review I'm waiting for the review please
Okay but
1:06 what is THIS PICTURE?
So, how would you rewrite this story?
titanosaurs lore
Little 1 looks like Jet
I intentionally drew him like Jet Jaguar just for the fun of it. :)
Where Godzilla in all of this?
0:03 Mystery? He's dead. Godzilla murdered him with his breath and Titanosaurus went limp and fell into the ocean and sank. It's REALLY obvious.
Is it true? Is my favourite kaiju getting recognition for once?
I am a simple man
If I see my favorite Kaiju I click.
yooman being
It sounds like titanosaurus was in the right here, the humans just genocided these intelligent seemingly fully sentient robots,
wait, how is something half cyborg? doesn't cyborg mean half robot, half something else?
well the romance in the movie felt forced as well.
cute manga girl....giant sea kaiju.......I hope this doesnt go where I think this is going
Titano is a reptile, not a octopus. You dont gotta worry nomore
God I hope they don't make this cannon. When I tell you am soooooooooo fucking sick of MECHA this MECHA that..like...ORIGINALITY THIS PLEASE. We already have MechaGodzilla and MechaGhidora we don't need or want MechaTitanosaurus. Let Titanosaurus live on AS HE IS, which is a perfect and original looking Kaiju.
I'm gonna be that guy lol. Titanosaurus is female.
