Kanto: Butterfree & Rhydon should've made it on here over the likes of Muk & Magnemite. & while I don't dislike Pinsir, unlike Muk, Rhydon much more deserves to be placed on Gen1's top Pokémon list.
Jotho: Raikou is the only Legendary in this region that's missing from the poll & doesn't feature a prominent role in a movie, which makes me feel sad for it. Out of all the 100 Gen2 Pkmn, Donphan is among those that made their debut in the anime before the games release, shown to be a spinning tire Elephant. If Corviknight can reach Top 3 in its own generation for being a cool metallic bird, then the 1st one of its kind, Skarmory, not even being in the Top 30 is a travesty. The lack of Marill line is bizarre as well, considering how it was the talk of town from rumors about its actual name being Pikablu to being part of Pokegods.
Unova: Braviary gives Staraptor a serious run for money as the coolest Normal/Flying type. Staraptor is on the Sinnoh's Top 30, so where's Braviary? Its absence genuinely shocked me. Like Im aware Rufflet is a version exclusive, is available & evolves way too late compared to Starly. But forgetting all that, its design alone puts it on top.
Alola: Naganadel is 1 of the strongest UB & it was under the ownership of Ash too. Poipole isn't present at all.

You've raised some really interesting points here! Butterfree and Rhydon definitely have their merits in Kanto, and it's understandable why you'd root for them over others. And you're right, it's a shame when iconic Pokémon like Raikou or Skarmory don't get the recognition they deserve. Donphan's debut in the Pokemon Movie was definitely memorable, and it's surprising it didn't make it into the poll AT ALL. Braviary's absence is another head-scratcher, especially considering its cool design and strength. (its also NOT an "early bird" pokemon, as they love to do so often) And you're spot on about Naganadel's power and its connection to the anime. It makes you wonder who was making this list....
