Finally got my cats from EOS, airbox and lower bolts were a real pain. Had same thing with the drivers bolts, the provided looked just like yours found out that they were metric 10 vs 3/8 thread pitch was not the same either. Went to Home Deport and found some bolts and nuts to fit and off to the races total time 4 hours. BTW had to rev with open headers OMG, neighbors not too happy about that car is a beast. My new cats are sounding great no engine light yet either. Thanks for the install video

Sounds great Jorge, the C8 needs more sound, especially when driving, they are quiet with the windows up. I was curious how much work that would take. Great coverage.

With all the work that it takes to remove the trunk and expose the cats do you think it's worth the effort to put the headers on while you're in that position and or an exhaust
The headers on the car are not bad at all to do as a stand alone item so I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to do it if your already there. And the exhaust well that’s really up to your personal preference
What did you end up doing for the CEL?
I am trying a different set of mini cats for now but don’t want to make another video until I know for sure it works

Yes I did, I installed the mini cats and unfortunately just got another cell….
Bro did you trade in the white camaro you had? The one with the speed engineering headers and the cam you threw in there ?
I ended up selling that car a couple years ago, got zl1 after and now have the c8 lol

Do you have a favorite car out of the SS and ZL1 and C8 ? If so why.
Between the SS and the zl1 I would take the zl1 hands down a fast car that can be almost as fast with way less mods compared to the SS, but the c8 is a completely different type of car the c8 is by far the most enjoyable to drive. I can’t mod it as much as the Camaros, but it doesn’t need to be as crazy modded to enjoy.

I have the 2m cats got an cel with spacers got the mini cats and cel is still on any suggestions?

Yeah.. how long did it take you to really to install.. Cat's are not easy to install.. especially by yourself. How much time in research did you do?

@@James-fh9zd James, it took me about 5-6 hours mainly because i took a few breaks. on the C8 not much needs to be removed besides the heat shielding, brace, and airbox. The airbox is probably the harder part. from there just having a couple tools makes it an easier job. probably could do this again in around 3 hours if needed.
@@James-fh9zd Also yes im still waiting for my dealer to get allocations. they have only gotten 5 so far and i was number 11 in the wait list sooo moving closer to it but just have to keep waiting smh

Honestly I am a bigger fan of being able to use the factory heat shielding from the EOS cats, but I will say the EOS is really not a cat more than it’s a straight pipe with some cat material and o2 extension. I installed the 2M mini cats, and they seem to have worked no check engine so I would say EOS with 2M mini cats are the winning combo

It shouldn’t but some dealers can be more finicky than others
