    Like him or not, that was a great press conference by Army. It takes a lot of humility to say some of those things!

    Sounds like a GM the Cards could use. Don’t care what folks think of this guy. Appreciate him taking accountability and expressing that he has better standards for success.

    Does anyone in the org know what good looks like? Who are you building around exactly? Team full of talented strangers.

    Fan bases, all fan bases suck a little. This was a decent season. There is every reason to think next season could be a little better.

    ~35:00 oof, after Schenner, each player's nickname sounded made up on the spot. "uh...Honey, Baby,...ya know, uh...Sweets, Lovey. These guys have all been good for us. Doober, Dobby...Lovey, Dovey. I could go on...probably"
    90% confident this is not our coach next year

    We have to go forward, rather than dither with the ball with the keeper. We're courting disaster doing that, and we sure can't score from there.

    Maybe the players should avoid partying on the road and act like they give a crap.

    Every gm makes mistakes it's the nature of the business he's in, most of it should fall on the players who never lived up to the contracts and let him down.. Only trade kyro for Brady out of Ottawa otherwise don't guy could blossom into a 50 goal guy, Binner most Likly is gone, can bring back so much in a trade and hire a new coach, love to see q back

      No, not Q!! That was disgusting what he did, turning his back on someone who was abused. There is no forgiveness, at his age he knew better

    It's one thing to make mistakes and give out no-trade-clauses but to not be able to fix the problem and trade these players seems to be incompetence on Doug Armstrong's part. The people who were horrible on this team this year, were people you brought in Doug Armstrong. Faulk, Hayes, Krug and Leddy. Right your wrongs and get rid of a couple of these players this offseason.

      He gave up Perron for Leddy. Biggest mistake he ever made!

    Armstrong completely abandoned a winning formula of 2019 with a big defense--that's not being too bright.

    • @MtHockey
      @MtHockey Před 12 dny +1

      You mean a defense that doesn't intimidate the opposition nor hardly ever score to make up for their lack grit isn't a good thing? 😳

    GM Doug Armstrong Made This Mess With Long Term Contracts Over Paid Players And No Movement Contracts. Doug ArmStrong Turn Down The Team Canada GM And Fully Concentrate On The St. Louis Blues. Doug Armstrong Has To Go Fire Him Or This Will Become A Long Term Trend Missing The Playoffs Bad Contracts

    • @MtHockey
      @MtHockey Před 12 dny

      @@claytonwyatt9780 Everyone is replaceable. The Bruins and the Penguins kept their core Stanley Cups teams for an extended times successfully, and they will always find high end players to come and play for them. Will the Blues attract top tier players considering Armstrong's handling of the Blues Stanley Cup core?
