- The ultimate comfort food lasagna, with layers of rich homemade meat sauce, creamy béchamel sauce , noodles , cheese and fresh mozzarella .
INGREDIENTS:-
For meat sauce:
Ground meat 1200g
onion 2 (medium size)
garlic 5 - 7 cloves
olive oil 2-3 tbsp
chopped tomatoes 400g x 3 cans
salt to taste
Red chili powder 1 tsp
black pepper crushed 1 tsp
dried basil 2 tsp
dried oregano 2 tsp
water 4 cup
ingredients for béchamel sauce:
butter 70g
All-purpose flour 4 tbsp
milk 800ml
salt 1 tsp
nutmeg 1/2 tsp
for layers you need:
Chopped tomatoes 1 can (400g)
olive oil 3 tsp
No-boil lasagna noodles 600g (approximately)
fresh mozzarella 700g
Fresh herbs parsley or basil leaves
parmigiano reggiano
edam cheese

If you want a piece that looks like that perfectly layered shot, for the love of God let your lasagna rest and set for at least 30 mins after you pull it from the oven!
They also say you want a "watery meat sauce." I'd think a thicker sauce would help prevent it from sliding around in addition to letting it rest.

@@crystalvillarreal8579 I think the purpose of the watery sauce is to soften the lasagne sheets. In the oven the sheets will absorb the excess water from the sauce, so at the end of it you’re left with a thicker meat sauce. Correct me if I’m wrong here.

I've been making lasagna for years but has never been perfectly done until I did yours today. I followed your steps and instructions with minor variations ; I reduced the amounts of cheeses and used veggies along with soya meat instead of minced meat. PERFECT 👌🏻, so delicious.

Absolutely delicious I followed the exact recipe with the exception of using fresh tomatoes and diluted tomato paste in water because we don't have canned tomatoes, it turned out great I highly recommend trying it.

Can i boil lasagne sheets?
@@zarminahassan8397 actually, within a fresh lasagna dough, it's advisable.
You can also find in the shop boxes of dry lasagna, They say that pre boiling is not needed.
I didn't make lasagna for a long time.
But I tried to make lasagna out of freshly home made pasta without pre boiling, and it was not great.
After pre boiling it was much better.
However now I use dry lasagna from boxes, because in a lasagna, what makes a difference, is not really the pasta by itself, it's the taste of the filling.
