- Bonjour!
The summer has been extraodinary: we're getting so much rain and it is not as warm and sunny as it is supposed to be. Nonetheless we're enjoying our time off as a family. In this vlog I take you with us on a trip to a beautiful lake in natural park Le Morvan. Hope you enjoy!
If you want to see more and follow me on Instagram you can find me here:
The Instagram for our home and future rentals is @lasource_bourgogne and for my brocante shop it’s @frenchvintagestyle_com

Back to binging now videos that are two years old! It is interesting to see your progress. 🙏
I love your videos.
Wow! That rainbow on the lake looked so magical🌈
What a peaceful spot...the lake. Your table setting was romantically inspired!
It is! I love all the different colors and patterns on the plates and like mixing them!
Nice to discover your videos. I'm renovating my house on the Auxois side of the Morvan at the moment!
O wow! Enjoy the project! So exciting isn’t it??
You have such a calming vlog thank you for the trip to the lake☺️
Prachtig het lac st. Agnan. Wij waren er een paar jaar geleden. De Charolais koeien zijn zachtaardige dieren. Ik vind de bespiering terwijl zo'n stier zich beweegt prachtig om te zien.
Hello Marloes, I am enjoying your videos watching them chronologically. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
You might have already done this, but if not, I was wondering if you gave any thought to adding something at the end of each video. It can be as simple as a blank page with the words, "the end" on it or as elaborate as a video clip of yourself waving your hand, "good bye". It can be the same every time. My point is that your videos end abruptly, which is bit confusing. Is there more to come? What happened? kind of thing. So, I decided to let you know. Thank you. See you in the next video.
As much I love your brocante shop, your guests will love it even more staying there. When will you be ready for stays? Thank you for lake adventure. It’s kind of a shame France hasn’t experienced much of a warm summer. After 8 years of living here, I’m confused by the drastic change.
Thanks! Hopefully we will be able to offer both the tiny house and the studio as of next season, 2022. Yes the weather is crazy but we’ve had a couple of nice days the past few days and will have wonderful warm and sunny weather coming weeks!
Beautiful and so serene
Materialen krijgen blijft lastig en we doen ons best… steady but surely!
LOVE your videos! Thank you for sharing the real life in France. Do you still have a shop?
Thank you! I currently only have my shop on Instagram. It is low key at the moment as I have to focus my time on the renovation works and my training business. You can find it on @frenchvintagestyle_com
Countrylife is pretty much the same everywhere in the world , definetely one is happier and helthier , the community is friendlier ,but you do need and extra effort to get to the facilities if needed . I believe it is everybodys dream to live in the countryside . In France you had lots of rain this summer , in Finland (my homeland) we had heath waves , in Greece ( where I've lived more than half of my life )we are having long lasting heath waves , everything is burning. This means climate change and we are in trouble ! If you read about this AMOC you will be even more troubled ! so what I ment to say is ,better life in countryside because we need to turn back a page ...
Agree!! We are (a)busing our beautiful planet… I really feel living closer to nature makes you so much more aware of your impact and footprint.
Hello. Marloes, I thought that there is a lot of beautiful nature in Holland too. Why are Dutch moving to France so much? How is the countryside life in Holland?
Our personal reasons were that The Netherlands is crowded and it’s very difficult to find a house with some land and we didn’t like the fast paced life in The Netherlands. Both counties and cultures are very different and life in the Netherlands just wasn’t for us anymore.
@@FrenchCountryLife Thanks for the reply. I have never been to your home country, but I did some research. Looks like people in your country are predominantly serious about work, precise, on time, skilled, and of trust. This all shows in your videos, in my opinion.
