  • We review the sought after Buick Encore GX ST. An upscale version of the normal car that adds excitement, refinement, and flare to the interior and driving experience. This American cruiser adds the features many want like a heated steering wheel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay while delivering a ferociously experience with GMs globally potent 3 Cylinder Turbo Charged engine. This SUV is a game-changer. Would you consider this over the Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX30, Ford Escape, Honda HRV, or CRV?

I prefer the look of the regular Encore over the GX, and since it's just me, I don't need a lot of space. The chip shortage problem concerns me, but that will just give me more time to save up a bigger down payment.

    Very cool video on the iconic nameplate of Buick! My first car was a 1964 Buick special deluxe and I also used to daily drive a 1992 Buick century deluxe. I always had a soft spot for Buick. It would be cool if Buick brought back the iconic Riviera nameplate or the Grand national. The interesting thing about Buick I work as an emergency roadside technician and the only issues I have seen is just people needing a jump start and everybody I've talked to who've owned a newer Buick have always raved about them! Buick is one of the unsung heroes with great brand loyalty. My favorite Buick has always been the 65 Riviera Grand sport. Back in 97 I was able to drive one and I cannot believe the wildcat 425 motor with the dual four barrel setup.

    • @markmiller3279
      @markmiller3279 Před 3 lety

      Part of it is low expectations. Buick has the oldest buyers of any mainstream brand, and those folks are old enough to remember the dismal reliability of cars from the 1960s through the 1980s. Any modern car seems exceptionally reliable when you grew up driving those.
