- Processing wild clay that I foraged for in the woods to make pottery! In this video I show each step of my process and share a little bit about how I'm coping with winter too.

I feel like I found a gem finding your channel. Great vibes and attitude :)
I just have to learn pottery, asked my grandma to teach me and she just told me how. Started crying crying because I didn't know how. This video helped so much thank you
As a fellow Potter i loved the vibe more than anything else ❤
I'm a yarn and fiber artist and have a great appreciation for handmade products. I really enjoyed watching the process of how you create pottery 😍 So relaxing 😌 😎 😊 ❤
What a lovely experiment!! We look forward to more of this!! Thank you for sharing!
This is only the second video from your channel that I have ever watched, and I am amazed that you know how to do things like forage wild berries that are actually edible or make beautiful vessels from wild clay. I feel completely inadequate when I see you do these things, but your videos are so well done and cozy that I subscribed. I cannot wait to see more. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this video! I loved that you foraged and formed your own clay pots. And that your partner makes all the music for your videos!
Food for the algorithm. May it's blessings be upon you
What clay! Such beautiful color it had in it's raw state I am absolutely mesmerized about the earth underneath us and the large variety it holds. I've been wanting to do this too for a long time, this summer perhaps I'll do it after seeing your super easy furnace that you can leave overnight like, aaa. genius.
And oh, almost forgot, not only was the clay wonderful but your creation too, seemingly perfect for it's cause. Love the mountains on it, not too much, not too little just *chefs kiss*
I would love more videos like this and the process of collecting clay
"Then I decided to pit fire it." OH yeah, I'm subscribing. This woman is awesome.
What a wonderful video! So calming and well produced! I was actually surprised to see you don't have a larger following already! I did get your video randomly recommended on my homepage, so I hope it means the algorithm is giving you a chance to shine. Keep doing what you do, it's a joy to watch!
Thank you so much, that is so encouraging! 🥰We're super happy that you're here and that this was a joy to watch!

I just gathered some clay from my sisters house where we had to dig a hole and i'm really excited to try to make the clay usable so i can create something with my nieces❤ your video was very helpful😊 thank you so very much❤
Soothing fresh and authentic❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing this. My friends and I just collected a handful of wild clay and we’re excited to start working with it! This video was very insightful for my next steps.
I live in Michigan and it’s so interesting how the earthenware here is grey/grayish-blue/grayish-green. Not a lot of iron in this clay resulting with a look not like the classic red or orange earthenware!
Lovely video. Darling pots!
I wild harvest. Lots of work, totally worth it.
Such talent!!! Love the pieces
Really love the music. Omg! The video is awesome too! ❤

I alway see clay where I live and I keep thinking I could make a pinch pot with it ❤
I didn't know you had a youtube channel! Happy to be here! Wonderful vid! :)
We’re happy you’re here! Thank you!!
thankyou for this mama
Hmmm, I use a lot more water, enough so that the sand and stones sink to the bottom. I pour off the liquid then I add a flocculant to settle the clay, and discard the water and other gunge. Then the rest of the process is very similar.
You could crush the dried clay to powder and sieve it before you add water. You'd need to wear a protective mask, but it's much less messy.
Thank you ❤️
Hi there, thanks so much for sharing this! We have had some massive flooding and slips here in NZ and there is literally wild clay everywhere that has been cleared from roads and properties. I'm keen to have a go at processing some of it. How did your firing tests go? Any chance you could share about the Temps you used? Cheers, Lexi
