I rewatched the episode of South Park before watching this video
i almost died when The Legend showed Cartman on the edge of the cliff! LMAO!
Casa Bonita! Casa Bonita!
Food and fun in a festive atmosphere.
Casa Bonita!
Who said i’m inviting you?
My family calls Casa Bonita Mexican Disney Land XD
Where were all the south park kids
I went to this place when I was around 13 and I thought it was legit, and then totally forgot about it until you mentioned it on the podcast, thanks for bringing back the great memories Legend!
If you look closely at 2:43 you’ll see Cartman standing by the waterfall.
One can not simply visit Denver and not visit casa bonita
You know, Casa Bonita was world famous and successful for over 40 years before South Park ever came along!
Cool tour. I'm looking forward to my visit here later this summer.
I wonder what all changes were made before and after the new ownership refurbishment? I've never been to the place myself, but I would like to go someday. From what little I've seen so far in videos, all I've found is that they've switched some of the hanging string lights with papel picado (fancy Mexican paper banners), and possibly the gorilla in favor of "manbearpig". Supposedly most of the refurbishment was spent on back of house and building updates.
I am excited that the restaurant has reopened, sometime in the next year I’m hoping to get out there to experience the new version.
I once went to a Casa Bonita in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I'm not sure if that one still exists. It was pretty much exactly the same though.
Adam's Coaster Chronicles closed for a long time now.
Bruh, I was there when I was three
Omg I went there when I was like 8 good memories
I living in Colorado Denver Wheatridge! I went here at casa Bonita when I was a little kid it brings me lots of memories when I was a little kid.
Since you are in CO check out Santa's Workshop pretty unique themed park in Colorado springs!
Or Meow Wolf in LoDo!!!!
Don't do that to them.
Ayy props to Casa Bonita for the Tekken 2 Cabinet 🤙🤙
Haven't been to this place seen a child
Where is the pirate cave from the South Park episode
+Sam Scott full walk through at about 9:40
the food is basically deer droppings, but casa is fun otherwise! just gotta get really stoned.
I used to go here as a kid and I loved it. But I’m sad because I think they took out the little sad dragon from the cave
Place has 3 stars on Yelp, seems your assessment of the food was correct. There are better Mexican restaurants in Denver. I've been to Jack N' Grill and Sams #3 which have been on DDD. If you are still out there visit the mountain resorts so you can come back in the winter and go skiing. Breckenridge would be a good one. Has a town with shops, restaurants, and fancy resort hotels. But you can stay in a budget hotel near the expressway to save money.
Ah shut up. Don't go there for the food.
My daughter used to be scared of the gorilla
Reviews on Google aren't great, 3.4 / 5
Casa Bonita is the single worst restaurant I have ever been to. The food was bordering on awful and the place was so dirty. 😝 But I guess if you grew up going it must be nostalgic. So many of my friends who grew up in Denver say, “I loved that place as a kid”. Makes me wonder if it used to be better?
Its fun for the little ones but the food is shit.... im sorry but i woke up throwing up the day after i went there..
watch out for the sodas..........they are like 5% soda and 95%water. who the hell waters down their sodas???????? other than that the food is KINDA sorta decent. you go here for the atmosphere and for the unlimited sopapillas.
The food is bad dudd
They probably just never recalibrated the soda mixtures. Most managers have no clue, just like switching the CO2 tank.
IT WAS SO AWFUL. My husband and I went through the line and after they seated us, we bolted for the door.
This place looks way lamer than it did in South Park...
The food is terrible
"Gringo dinners..." I never knew a place could be so racist and still be so popular.
Nasty.
Not fun
0 food throughout the entire video, save yourself some time and thumbs down then move on.
