    Got the Sony 11mm F1.8 lens 8 months back, and it's been a game-changer for my travel vlogs. The F1.8 aperture excels in low light, while an ND filter helps maintain it in daylight. Love the results!

    Superb content! How would you compare the viltrox 13 mm f1.4 against the sony 15 mm f1.4? Which provides better/sharper image quality? What is your preference and why?

    I have both of those lenses.
    The Sony is great for blogging, but often, I'd prefer the Viltrox 13mm 13mm for reduced distortions, and it can produce great bokeh!
    The Sony is super light and compact, so it lends itself very well for blogging and real estate...

      which one do you use more often? does the viltrox size bother you? Sometimes, i felt the viltrox is too big for an apsc lens

    • @Pharesm
      @Pharesm Před 18 dny

      @@kojivisuals I can't say that overall, but for vlogging the Sony is just better, lighter and great with gimbal - I turn on active stab, just to reduce the wide angle.
      The 13mm is hands down my preference for photography. My favorite Viltrox is still the 23mmf1.4. its not "pro", but well, it makes a really great 30mm with excellent quality, bright enough for camp fires and astro. Sure, its not f1.2, but it does great and its not heavy inspite of its metal construction. 1 drawback: no weather seals.

      Thanks brother. I havent tried 23mm yet; but I have the viltrox 24mm f1.8. It looks good with soft bokeh; but the issue is overtime i find the jpg sooc color not natural

    • @kojivisuals
      @kojivisuals  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hi andy thanks! Viltrox 75mm is a superv portrait lens , but video is slow on autofocus.
      For sigma 18-50, i like this zoom lens.
      But, I just like F1.4 and F1.8 more 😋😋 Bokeh and Low Light is very nice

      @@kojivisuals good , thank you… I think what to buy … full frame like Sony a7iv or Sony a7rv or just but lens for my zve10… I understand that ff cost more money, but…

    • @kojivisuals
      @kojivisuals  Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@andybelii Full frame is a really good, but the full frame lenses can be big and expensive. If you do service for commercial/wedding. It is good.
      If u do content creation, sigma 18-50 and zv-e10 is good enough. The image quality is great on apsc camera. We only lose out on Bokeh and Low Light compared to Full Frame.
      Also, we can always sell the body & lens at a good price to others. Sony camera has good value.

    One question tho. I have sony fx30 and i dont have any lens right now. I am in between to get sigma 1.4 16mm plus tamron 28-75 g2 or i can get only this lens and call the day! I am looking for video shooting mostly(like ancient ruins, zoo, jungle, hiking, church, streets animals) and some photos here and there. I am also going to shoot talking head videos in door.
    I am also planning to use 4k 120fps option in Fx30 which has 1.5 more crop on top of apsc crop!
    I need to know 3 important aspects about these lenses!
    1- f1.8 vs f.1.4 How big of the difference especially for low light in door recordings with my fx30! I am bit worried about sensor being apsc and underperforms in low light. So should i really prioritize 1.4 over 1.8? I have done some research and find out 1.4 lets almost 2 times amount light than 1.8!
    2- I am really worried about distortion that sony 11mm has. I know we can use in camera corrections on fx30 body! But for me while shooting talking head i dont want my face to look weird because of extreme wide angle and distortion! Is it a problem with sony lens? Also while shooting some historical places i would not want to see curved lines!
    3- I am a bit worried about viltrox 13mm image quality! Sony looks way better, much punchier, much sharper and it is also a native lens for fx30! Also both lenses are same price in my country! Should i value that sony is native, have better focusing performance and same price with viltrox or should i go for viltrox and give up from that 2 mm but get brighter aperture and less distorted but less punchy and less sharp image quality with viltrox!
    Thanks for reply in advance!

      The 16mm Sigma is the most comfortable lens of all time, your choice is right. The 16mm x 1.5mm = 24mm focalleght is the best wide with no slight distortion, I guarantee there will be no regrets

    The catalyst browse stabilization is awesome...better than a gimbal stabilization I think

    • @kojivisuals
      @kojivisuals  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Yeah the catalyst browse is awesome!
      But the gimbal shld be more smooth, i have tried to speed ramp both catalyst browse and gimbal footage; gimbal is more smooth.
      I think I nid to make a video abt zve10 stabilisation on gimbal vs active/catalyst browse stabilised
