I used PlastiDip can dip in car parts... bracket assembly for a power steering fluid cooler..cleaned them up really good and dipped them 3x... still looking great after ~5 years
Good tip!
I use shrink tubing on tool handles, usually shrink 3 tubing coats. I might try this dip out just for fun.
Go for it!
Keep on experimenting, lads, it's all good to see
We will!
Curious, how does it feel on the handle? is it smooth/plasticy rubber? or a little bit non-slip tacky feel?
Its not tacky feels smooth with a little extra grip
All of those "planned failures" were definitely staged, and not real in any way! This was a fun little test. Maybe we should durability test the coating!
Ye
I wonder how it will last compared to factory coatings ?
Definitely not as durable as some factory, but it can always be redone which is nice
Nice video, I have never used the plastic dip. I have always used the Klein Koat pound on plastic handles. Kurt I sent you an email about them. I don’t know if you have seen them.
I just read your email, definitely an interesting thing for me to check out.
Does it come in red
Yes it comes in red
don’t double dip, dip once and move on
Thank you for your opinion
