Jose Rabelo pink floyd were great musicians and a great band but none of them were great singers. Unbelievably good lyric writers and created music so good they didn't even need a good vocalist.
There was no greater performer or showman in my opinion. He was so electric and just oozed star quality with an air of effortlessness and genuine love of his craft and fans. If anyone was ever born to be on stage, it was Freddie. I'm so gutted he passed before I was old enough to really understand, but also feel so lucky to have grown up in a time when truly great music was still played on the radio. And it was more special then, because you had to go find your record and immerse yourself in it. Saturdays watching MTV or Rage were a treat, listening to bohemian rhapsody in the car and singing at the top of your lungs... just so many core memories there. I'm grateful that his magic has been captured for future generations but do also feel that everything being SO accessible dulls the senses somewhat. Queen will always be my all time favourite, if I could bring back just one person from history, I think you know who I'd choose.

Just saw the Bohemian Rhapsody, what a great movie about Queen. I was born in 88, when he was died, I was 3 years old. I wish I had a time machine, so I could go back to that time and saw him on tv or listening their music since the beginning.

Queen had that ability to make the audience part of the show..... look at songs like Radio Gaga, We will rock you etc. Bands just cant do that anymore..... they may never be able to do so ever again. I am seriously so happy my dad told me about Queens, now i know about them for like 3 years and i have no regrets, Freddie's voice is so magical and beautiful, i could listen to them for hours and i really wish i could be on the concert because i can see it was full of adrenaline and power :) we all love you Freddie Mercury hope you're having concerts in heaven too, rest in peace you were a true legend 👏❤️

I had no idea who Queen was when I saw their Live Aid performance but I knew it was the best stage performance I had ever seen. It's 1 for me
Its the best without doubt. Queen had that ability to make the audience part of the show..... look at songs like Radio Gaga, We will rock you etc. Bands just cant do that anymore..... they may never be able to do so ever again. Fans are too busy taking videos of the action on stage to actually be part of the show. And then there's Freddie's voice. My God, has there ever been a better rock and roll voice in the history of the world. Heck, has there ever been a better voice in any number of genres than Freddie's. He's sadly missed.
