I use post hole diggers with steel pipe handles filled with lead. It drives the diggers into the soil and helps you dig. Yes it makes for hard work but it really helps you dig. Jim

Can you show or explain the rivet backing tool you made? Im curious as to how it mounts and locks in place.

Ive never used rivets, though I have used Huck Bolts, which are similar I guess, I find them much easier to use.

What size air hammer is that? I recently rebuilt a 4" stroke chipping hammer, wondering how big of a rivet I can set.
How many tons is the press?
Up to 50 tons. Running around 35 here for these 7/8" rivets 😉
