*EDIT: At 2:10 - Copper/Brass Rivets feature a solid Brass mandrel and Copper/Copper Rivets feature a copper plated mandrel. We're very sorry for the confusion.
bob calm down, too much excitement!
...ehhhhh.... sigh..... im bob... ehhhh.... ok....
I swear someone has a gun to his head.
Does anyone know why all Brass Pop Rivets don't exist? The closest I can find are Brass Mandrel and Copper Head.
Wakodahatchee Chris
After finding the uncommon brass mandrel/copper rivet on ebay, I find that the very same supplier (you folks) have a video here showing off all of your wares. Glad to see someone thinking ahead like that!
Quite a good selection and variety.

When would I want to use a steel pop rivet instead of aluminum? I’m am using these for a tool box, should I use a steel or a aluminum pop rivet? The size is a #66 rovet
What rivets expand inward? There’s a guy on CZcams putting sideskirts on his Camaro and he said to use rivets the expand in for tighter connection.
Wow never knew there were that many types thank you for sharing your knowledge
You're welcome! Thank you for your feedback.
Could someone recommend rivets for a woodstove pipe. Aluminum or steel? Thanks
Woodbilly TN . Steel rivets will be good.. we deal in rivets..

Use the same metal that the pipe is made of.
For riveting , drill's number of hole's , are , from 2.5 mm to 3.1 mm ! Am I right's?
what size drill hole do you have to make before using the rivet
Refer to our rivet size guide chart near the bottom to find the drill size for your application: www.albanycountyfasteners.com/Rivet-Guide-s/1158.htm
I hopes to see in what application they can be used ...
Rivets hold two materials together tightly and efficiently. For an example on the installation of pop rivets, refer to our video on the subject: czcams.com/video/CrMX4vgeyXM/video.html
We don't have any projects going at this time to demonstrate them all in a real world scenario, but if you want a real world example of the uses of pop rivets, take a look at your jeans.
Please tell me the best hand held manual operating (non electrical or pneumaitic) rivet gun for installing countersunk, aluminum, stainless steel and rivet nuts.
While we presently do no carry the tool you are looking for, that doesn't mean we can't get it for you. ;)
Please contact us at 866-573-0445 and we can help you find what you are looking for.
I enjoyed your video. It was very helpful. Thank you!
Little fast too follow there Bob. Love the excitement though
Here's a breakdown of the key differences between aluminum, copper, and stainless steel rivets, along with their ideal uses:
Material:
Aluminum: Lightweight, malleable, good strength-to-weight ratio.
Copper: Malleable, good conductor of heat and electricity.
Stainless Steel: Strong, corrosion-resistant, high melting point.
Strength:
Stainless Steel: Strongest of the three, with high tensile and shear strength.
Aluminum: Lower strength than stainless steel, but still offers good holding power for its weight.
Copper: Weakest in terms of sheer strength, not ideal for high-stress applications.
Corrosion Resistance:
Stainless Steel: Excellent corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor use and wet environments.
Aluminum: Can corrode, especially when paired with dissimilar metals. Not recommended for harsh environments.
Copper: Moderately corrosion-resistant, but can develop a patina over time.
Note: Due to its high nobility, copper itself resists corrosion. However, when connected to a less noble metal like steel or aluminum in a wet environment, it acts as a cathode and accelerates corrosion in the other metal.
Applications:
Aluminum: Ideal for lightweight applications, sheet metal work, and when weight is a major concern (aircraft construction). Not suitable for high-stress situations or where dissimilar metals touch.
Copper: Often used for decorative purposes due to its color, good electrical conductivity (electrical grounding), and heat conduction (heat sinks). Not recommended for high-strength joints.
Stainless Steel: The most versatile option due to its strength and corrosion resistance. Ideal for outdoor applications, construction, shipbuilding, appliances, and anywhere a strong, durable fastener is needed.
Additional Considerations:
Cost: Aluminum is generally the cheapest, followed by copper and then stainless steel.
Conductivity: Copper offers the best electrical and thermal conductivity.
Buehler....Buehler...LOL!
Thank you!
A good clear well presented video. Why so much negativity. It’s sad.
Thank you
What are the best and strongest rivets to use on an aluminum roof rack? 🤔
Also an aluminum fishing cart?
#8 or 1/4" Alum.
@@AlbanyCountyFasteners thank you very much
HI. BOB
Hi dmanbigd1.
I was hoping to learn not only what they were but what they were used for.
A lot of pop rivets have such a variety of uses that fitting them all in a video would be difficult, especially when many of these uses may come down to personal taste and an application's needs! For example, countersunk rivets are ideal for more flush installations, but a given person may prefer them for a clean look, even in applications where a flush finish isn't required.
Rivet 's are long lasting 's , of material 's , for holding both sides of metals together 's ! Low cost 's , easy to using '
This video is riveting
riveting :)
XD Thank you for your feedback!
Rivits are different. Why? Nobody knows.
Quite a good selection and variety.

Thank you for your feedback.
You have to keep in mind some people make videos to inform, not to entertain.

There is a lot more types of rivets than just blind pop rivets. This video was horrible.
This is your definition of "horrible"? Lol... wtf.
WOW!
This man instills absolutely NO confidence in my desire to work with this company!
He clearly has little-to-no-knowledge of the trades industry or the tools he is referencing.
ACF needs to go out on the street and hire the very first person they find to come promote their products for them...!
Be lively next time dude . I fell asleep
Can't believe this guy had to say uhhhhh in a 5 min video with all the materials in front of him.
It would have been more informative had you actually applied each different rivet to show the finished application.
Thus was a serious waste of time .
Thank you for your feedback.
dude, pick up the paste. i'm falling in .........zzzzz ...pffffff....zzzzz sleep
Falling A sleep...;)
Paste? Is he planning to do some wallpapering? #pace
I use the settings button to increase the playback speed (125%, 150%, etc.).
The settings button is the Gear-looking icon in the bottom right corner of the Video window.
200% is not bad for this video.
Quite a good selection and variety.

Thank you for your feedback.
What is it, what is it called, why, how, where, write it does, talk faster, keep it in the camera view, demo each. This video was poorly done, uninformative and redundant. Ye I see it copper, why?
Thank you for your feedback.
