The best buy band looks fantastic, and I think the black hardware looks slick, especially when the watch screen has black in it, it looks awesome.

You introduced few great insights in this video starting with easing up strap selection which I found very helpful followed with the observation that the ultra was a good replacement for the phone, something Iâve doing since series 5. Great video đ

Alpine looks great. I like the leather loop with the magnets in navy too. Plus itâs easy to put on and take off.

Awesome video Matt! I have a few bands too from Nomad. Yes, they never miss. I got the same ash green sport band and i paired it with my ultra. I preordered the orange version of the sport band.
The other nomad straps i got is the same black rugged band and their steel bracelet band. That combined with the ultra is đ„ I also have appleâs leather loop in golden brown, sport loop and the steel milanese loop.
What a collection! The orange is gonna look so good.

I know âblessedâ may sound a bit overboard when discussing Apple Watch bands & the like, but you, your tempo, your speech patterns, whatever it is - a combo of several things to be sure, certainly landed today. I feel soâŠummmmâŠbad that presenters / speakers have to put up with listeners like me (đ) at home. (Iâm trying to be as diplomatic as possible đ ). You donât have any issues speaking, you are PERFECT! A few minutes in you had enough wherewithal to mention you were sorry to be talking too much & I almost fell over. First, you werenât - anywhere near - but you are highly self-aware & thatâs rare these dayâs & becoming more so.

Great comparison. Not loving the red band or the Nike band, but most look great.
Awesome video. I would scoop the ultra up but I wished they offered at least a graphite or matte black color option. I might have to stick with grabbing the stainless steel series 8 in graphite. But I think the nomad black band went best with it as I like the more subdued color options. Which is why I donât like any of the standard aluminum series 8 colors. The classic blue navy buckle did look good as well as the brown.

I wish Apple would do a wider titanium Milanese loop designed for the ultra
One from a previous generation would probably keep loosening up too much from the difference in the weight the magnets are designed to hold.
I actually bought the Nomad Rugged to replace the same green loop band you have and it looks nice on my wrist. I ordered the Nomad sport band in the orange to match the watch accents. It will be delivered in November.
i am thinking the same, the orange nomad whilst i work out and maybe the orange loop for weekends and when i am not running or swimming.

The âstandardâ Sportsloup is still the best band Apple has ever done for the watch. Use it withe Ultra as well đđ

They make the Buckle strap.....but only for the smaller Watches. Forgot the exact time they discontinued doing the 44/45mm sizes. Think it was the same time they made the large size Leather bands exclusive to 44mm.

1:44 , this is the exact band I got also. It was ONLY available in small at local Apple Store on Fri. Surprisingly it fit the my wrist (which is 190.5mm) , but a slight struggle to get it around my hand. BUT...at least I got the watch and figured a larger band would be back in stock within 14 days. That did happen yesterday. Quick exchange for the Medium band and it's perfect. I'm new to these kind of bands and I do like the fit and comfort of this one, I have the old silicones that came with previous versions, but mostly steel and leather bands. Just happy this watch works with my older Series 1 AND 4 bands!
Glad you got the size you wanted! I actually did small/medium this time vs medium/large and I noticed my hand was a little tighter to get it through. If you havenât yet check out the braided solo loop in store and see what you think.
@@justmattgrayI have been looking at those online, Apple's site....Not bad. I do need to get a correct fitting...stopping by the Apple Store I can get that, try it on and see how it feels. I admit it has taken some time to get used to this Alpine Loop...just not used to it I guess - slight love/hate relationship with it. Not worried about scratching this obviously :) , it's very comfortable, no tearing so far. Just feel like a putz sometimes getting this on and off. (dont ask..lol, I know its not rocket science) More used to steel bands I've purchased for my old SS Series 4. I do like these SUPER WIDE fabric bands I see on Amazon, other sites...but reviews are mixed, especially with the clasps that actually attach to the watch. Nah...dont need my watch totally coming off my wrist due to crappy manufacturing. Even "knockoff" Ocean Bands..the band I truly wanted (not paying $99 silicone OEM Apple), but again..mixed reviews, and QC issues with those on Amazon, Ebay, other sites.

Iâm liking the look of the Gray Nomad sport band. My favorite band is the stainless steel link band from Apple, it looks awesome with the Ultra. I also have a Series 7 that Iâm holding on to for now, mainly because trade value was ridiculous. Itâs also nice to be able to throw it on while my Ultra is charging if I want to get in a workout or go for a walk and track my calories.
i did not know you could use two watches on the same iphone, but putting on your 7 whilst the Ultra charges... it takes 45 mins to charge nearly 80% and around 1 hour to full. I just put my ultra on whilst i fire up my PS5

I got the nomad titanium band, matches the color of the watch perfectly. It comes with a tool to remove links, itâs not too hard to do. Just takes a little time

My gripe with metal bands is that the slide action to mount them on the watch can cause a stripe of damage which ruins the aesthetics. you know, where the attachment slides into the titanium channel of the watch. I was very keen on getting a cheap but instant solution for my new watch, but heck, it's plainly ridiculous to have some visible damage already after the first use. Not to mention the ridiculous non-fit of those cheap garbage straps. Do yo remark any of this on the nomad titanium?
@@teutates619 if thereâs any marks, theyâre on the inside where you canât see them, no visible marks on the exterior at all.

The unity braided solo loop is my favorite. And Iâve had the larger watch since the series 0 and I have smaller wrists so Iâm used to it. Either way I always found that the bigger battery is worth it. Iâd go for the ultra over stainless steel. Feels like more value. Maybe grab a stainless used series 7 Hermes haha.

Hey Matt. New subscriber. I really enjoyed this video. Iâve had my Apple Watch for less than a month. I like the Nike black and green band with the holes. Im not a fan of the cloth bands. My question to you is would the Walmart brand bands be lesser quality than the Apple Original band that with it?

Between nomad sport strap and nike sport what do you think is more comfortable? Is there much different in skin breathability?
Iâve noticed for activities when I get sweaty or my arms wet that the Nike band is preferred. The holes make it a more comfortable wear. The nomad strap is very comfortable but more stiff and I prefer that fit when Iâm doing things like hiking. Nike for comfort and skin breathability.

Theyâll work if they are 42/44/45/49mm bands.
Trail loop is the most comfortable out of the new releases, canât even feel it on my wrist.
