I think it was foul play by the film crew. He already expressed he wanted to leave early before going to the mine which tells me he was worried at that point already before he disappeared

I feel like heading out and searching for that young man. Pretty sad.

The film people sound sketchy. The fact that the director's statement to the dad kept referring to "your son" instead of calling Terrence by his name is a verbal red flag. The fact that the film crew went through Terrence's room before even the police could is also highly questionable. The comment that the person who observed Terrance running was corroborated "later" by another person seemed off--for what reason did she have to be contacted later. What happened to the documentary that was being filmed? Was it ever shown?

What made him want to go home early? That other, unrelated ? woman's disappearance on the same day seems more than coincidental. It's all very sad. thanks, Rusty

This reminds me of a colleague of mine at my previous job (young athletic guy, no debts, no issues we knew about), he just stood up one day and went out of the office. We thought he went to lunch, but he failed to return and did not answer his phone. A couple of hours later, the police called us that they found him sitting in the car, which ran out of gas, about 150 miles from our company, in the middle of the road, still pressing down the gas pedal and trying to steer. He suffered a mental breakdown and when he got out of the hospital, he said that he remembered nothing of that entire day. Turned out he just took too much on his shoulders and was too scared to admit it and his worries just made him snap. Trust me, I saw his face when he was leaving, he was sitting next to me in an open office. Not a trace of anything unusual. If that happened in this case and he fell down an old mine shaft or just ran straight into the woods, his chances were slim to none.

THAT STORY SOUNDS LIKE A LIE

The Terence Woods story is full of holes, his parents were never allowed to talk to the crew and I'm finding nothing in the news regarding their testimonies. What about his cell phone, nobody mentions it? He obviously wanted to leave, I think someone was harassing him. This whole story smells. (Looking at the terrain here, I can't imagine him running, seriously!). Local law enforcement did a horrible job.

Sounds like a panic attack. They give you a sudden intense feeling of impending doom and intense fear. Most people with them feel like they feel the need “to run” to do anything to make it stop. They can either be chronic or come out of nowhere after building anxiety for some time

I never fail when hearing these cases of missing people, to feel so sorry for their families. How sad, to lose a loved one and have no answers as to what happened.

I wonder if he had some kind of bathroom emergency to put it nicely, so he ran to where he could relieve himself without being seen but maybe he came across an old mine shaft by accident and fell in before he could stop himself running ?????.
