I'm 66, and I was born into evangelical Protestantism. Late in life I walked away, was received into the Orthodox Church, and never looked back. I noticed a drift towards feminized Christology, and a softer posturing clergy, plus a move to more progressivism, in my waning days in evangelicalism. I both hear and see it's more noticeable today. We're seeing exponential growth in my little Antiochian parish in the midwest, with young families, but particularly with men, primarily young men. It's imperative that both Orthodox clergy, and older Orthodox male laity mentor these young men!
Very edifing talk gentlemen, really enjoyed it. Bless father. We danes thank you that you took time out of your day to talk with one of our brothers and all of the brothers of the church
Hey brother just wanna say I love your show and your reach is worldwide. Life is good down here in the American south! Orthodoxy is growing and people are smiling
@ManiphestoMen battle on the Ice is most likely, it's the only battle I have heard of between him and Westerners. The northern crusade, where teutonic knights were sent to forcibly convert the Rus to catholicism. Met in battle on a frozen lake, and Alexander won. There was not much desire to spread further east, from the tuetonic knights, so they just followed orders, and then when they lost the first battle, they gave up. If I remember correctly, Poland is Catholic because of the northern crusade.
I enjoyed our talk Paul! God bless
Thank you Fr Mikhail, I look forward to talking again!
Very nice. This is a much needed talk in our society today! God bless.

@ 27:35 “…if you want to avoid this FROM happening..” incorrect usage.
I think he wanted to say something like “prevent this from happening”.
Great video, God bless!
Good stuff 👍
Hi
What battle is depicted in the thumbnail.
It is Alexander Nevsky. I am not 100% sure of which battle, but this looks more like Swedes than Mongols.
