Your poetry was next to me throughout the best and the worst days of my life. I met you back in 1990 when the anthem Baby, can I hold you? was a hit in Brazil because of a famous soap opera. Unfortunately, the actress was brutally murdered by her pair in real life. Your song got even more famous. I bought the LP and started singing, first, after you. Later, with you. I've lost count of how many times I couldn't finish singing "Last night I heard the screaming. Loud voices behind the walls" because my eyes would well up and a frog would go down my throat. Well, it still does. My wife was jealous of you once. hahahahahah She's ok now. I do love everything you write and sing. Now, my students have the chance to sing your songs with me.
