I did this but the problem is that you lose steering angle when Turing to the left. The angle of the knuckles is too steep for the links to have the proper leverage. After messing around for 2 hours trying to get it to work I went back to stock caster and got all my steering angle back.
You could swap mounting position og the servo to the passenger side and love the steering link on the knuckle to the drivers side, then you will gain steering and caster in both directions. Did this on mine.

Correction: after switching to SOA turning the C hubs back 1 slot does work well.

Why not just go with a lightweight comp style chassis? And why would you add brass up so high?
If you mean the brass stand offs, cause there available and I could find the alloy version on ebay in the UK 🇬🇧
