One time my dad tried to stop me from saving a neighbor's cat who got tangled in the ivy-ridden fence between my house and the neighbor's house, just because "those neighbors are bad people". I wasn't having any of that. I didn't care how mean those people are, or how misunderstood they might be. I wasn't about to let a cat suffer if I could help it. I helped the cat get free. The neighbors were grateful. As far as I'm aware the cat turned out fine after a few days.
Good on you for putting the safety of that animal first! The poor thing didn’t deserve to be left like that. I really appreciate you sharing that story, friend! 😊
Its about having standards. Some people never had them, but the heartbreaking part is when people lose them and then feel so scarred that they feel like its a lesson they're supposed to teach.

@@DuskTillShawn question: have you made a video of a trope of a family that moved to a new place and the dad is the only one happy and have to move back because the rest are not happy? I see these kinds of episodes in Powerpuff, Jetsons, Family Guy and some that I can't remember
there is one detail about the episode that can easily be overlooked the fact that Hugh let Mr. Wheezer borrow the lawn lopper in the first place meaning that the lawn fued, isn't normal between them letting someone borrow an expensive personal item, must indicate a strong friendship
Exactly. While there are no exact hard and fast rules on being a good neighbor, usually friendly neighbors that know each other well enough ask to borrow each other's stuff or to help them with things frequently. That's what my Mom and our neighbors do. So for Hugh to be nice enough to lend others his precious lawn care equipment only to then forget who he sent it to and act quite hostile just sounds out of character for Hugh. He's forgetful, sure, and sometimes he feels a bit spiteful after being duped, but for him to act with hostility towards his friends and neighbors is most unbecoming. So much of this could've been avoided if Hugh didn't act too smug about his lawn and gave Mr. Wheezer a chance to explain himself, and Mr. Wheezer could've taken a breath, let Hugh see that he didn't have it, and try to help Hugh retrace his steps on where it might've gone rather than start acting in hostility to Hugh being a bit douche-y and being so protective of his garage. Finally, while I understand that Hugh loves his ducks, he should've seen what Mr. Wheezer did with his duck was clearly an accident, but he saw it as an act of hostility, while Mr. Wheezer should've said I'm sorry, and try to defuse it, Hugh shouldn't have smashed Mr. Wheezer's lawn cat in retaliation just to get even. "Eye for an eye makes the world go blind" seems to apply here. Also, might not have happened if Sheen had delivered the message, but it is what it is. While I don't like plots that are fueled entirely by stupid decisions, in a way it was kinda necessary to get a pretty memorable episode with a good message "Be kind and respectful to your neighbors, don't force your conflicts onto your kids, and messengers deliver your messages on time or else lack of healthy communication can cause problems."
@kinghyperheart1571 An eye for an eye is actually more of having the wrongdoer face equal punishment/pay to who they wronged. Hammurabi's Code will give you a more indepth explanation.
@@gamemaster2819well, it _is_ Sheen. Considering he presumably took payment from Carl earlier to deliver his message, it’s possible Sheen forgot how his business worked and figured the _receiver_ paid. Is it an absurd business tactic to have the receiver pay for something someone _else_ sent to them? Yes, very much so… Wait, wasn’t it a subscription service? Yeah, Sheen probably just can’t remember what his business model is. Regardless, it makes for a pretty funny (and neutral) ending where instead of being mad at Hugh, everyone’s mad at Sheen.
I knew someone who had parents who were judgemental to divorced families. If someone had a parent who passed (and the remaining parent was single) they were sketch about it. But their kid was looked down on and prevented from hanging out with kids with single parents. @@kidprime6863 Jimmy’s dad does call it runoff so they’re possibly just side effects from his experiments now where Jimmy put it before his dad dump. It is another story.
Imagine if Mr. Wheezer suggested Hugh juat forgot who he lent it to and this became a huge runaround episode. "Sam's lawn's been overgrown, maybe he has got it?" But Sam's lawn is still tall, he says "Mr. Estevez's lawn is shorter that was yesterday." But Sheen's dad just cut the lawn down hard way. HE says he saw Nick's dad with a lawn lopper though! ...but Nick's dad just purchased his own is all. And at the end we find out that Jimmy asked his mom if he could use the lawn lopper as a base for one of his inventions or somesuch like.
That could've been an AMAZING episode! Especially if someone is LITERALLY going through a running gag of keeping track of EVERY place and EVERY dad they went too and updating it the whole way at the end as a rant to Jimmy about everything they basically did with all the other dads behind them.
As someone who works in child care at a community college and is currently obtaining my certificate, I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to work with children. I have a deep love for kids and find them to be truly amazing and adorable beings. However, I also understand the responsibility that comes with working in this field. I have witnessed firsthand how parents, despite their best intentions, can make mistakes. But in this situation, I wholeheartedly agree that the children's friendship should not be affected by their parents' feud. Children are innocent and should not be caught in the middle of adult conflicts. It is our duty as caregivers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them, regardless of any external issues. Every child deserves to have a meaningful and joyful friendship, and it is our job to support and encourage that.
I'd love to see you cover an Ed Edd n Eddy episode, the request I had in mind was the Eds are coming episode, the one where the aliens invaded the cul-de-sac, and spoiler warning in the end, the aliens are seen carrying away the cul-de-sac after realizing the aliens were just Rolf's weird family.
Sheen at least trying to be a courier for both Jimmy and Carl shows that even though he’s an absolute dipstick for a brain; he’s a true pal! He’s a real bro!
Objection the messenger forgot to actually give the message. So he literally withheld this information without even telling either of them all the way from the start.
@@DuskTillShawn Exactly. Unless Sam outright stole the lawn lopper and treated it as borrowing without asking, It's not Sheen's job to remind them of something they should already know. The message itself is a formality that sounds like a response to a previous message. Just "Thanks, I'll give it back in a few days, yodel-lay!"
I'd like to know how Sam the Candy bar owner got hold of Hugh's lawn lopper. The closest thing I wish we could see is the Neutron garage to show proof that his lawn lopper really isn't there. Alternatively Jimmy could've tried to use his dog to help track Hugh's lawn lopper but hey, can't help it when all jimmy wants is to play with Carl and just be kids.
Wait a minute, I'm confused. Why was everyone mad at Sheen? Hugh was the one who lent the lawnmower to Sam and forgot but everyone's mad at Sheen for forgetting to deliver Sam's thank you message? Maybe I'm missing something but it just doesn't seem like a Sheen's fault thing.
This whole ordeal could’ve been avoided if Hugh had simply remembered he let Sam borrow his lawn mower in the first place and if sheen remembered to deliver the polka message earlier.
As a kid, I found this episode funny. Now, being 21, I feel bad for Jimmy and Carl but still definitely say it's a fun episode. Please keep this going Hugh is my favourite character in Jimmy Neutron my favourite line is I will do it I WILL LIIIIVEEE he's soo memorable and man I love Hugh
I remember there was an episode of Rugrats that dealt with the same situation where Tommy’s parents and Phil and Lil’s parents had a fight over a game of charades. Starting with Stu being frustrated that he and Howard didn’t win and insulting Howard’s lack of intelligence which set Howard off. Then boiling down to both Didi and Betty siding with their husbands of who was right or wrong in the fight that resulted both the Pickles family and Deville family not speaking to each other. Of course Tommy thought of mending the bounds himself by giving a present that was his mom’s favorite earrings to Chuckie to give to Phil and Lil and they respond the same by giving away their dad’s wrist watch. But it came up as a confusion where the parents assumed that the other stole their belonging and gotten to a bigger fight that Tommy and his friends decide to run away so they can be friends forever if their parents weren’t going to be. When the parents notice their kids have gone missing they band together to look for their children before they got hurt or lost. After they found them they put aside the fued and became friends again. Now that was a bit more severe that your parents argument has gotten so worse that the kids decide to leave their families so they can still be friends. I would hate for that to happen to me.
As a lawn care professional, I bust my gut when Hugh said Mr. Weezers lawn was limp and hard to manage. That whole fight was hilarious. You would be shocked to find many homeowners are like this just not as comical.
It was 100% his fault. He got paid to do a job didn't do the job and it resulted in a feud. Kid or not you need to take accountability for your mistakes, and this was a mistake and an honest one. Hew is definitely a fault as well.
This episode's plot has been done to death, I've seen it on Spongebob, Rugrats, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if The Simpsons has done it, just to name a few.
2 points I would like to bring up regarding this episode and the situation. 1. While the fact that Hugh cut Jimmy off from his lab was wrong, it happened in response to Jimmy telling his father that he was going to use the lab to disobey his house rules. Getting the lab locked away from him was the least of what could be done in response to such a blatant disregard for a father's words and rules even if said words and rules are unjustified. I can't fault Hugh for that even if you have valid points in how wrong it really was in context. 2. I never, even as a kid, liked how they never showed or even referenced any of the Neutrons checking their garage for the item in question. It makes Hugh looks like he has less of a hill to stand on than he actually does. They could have had him check his garage first, not see it, then ask Carl's dad about it. Carl's dad mentions that he gave it back and Hugh responses saying he just checked his garage and it isn't there. At this point things can go one of two ways, either Carl's dad lets Hugh check the garage since there is clearly something wrong if Hugh can't find it, or he adamantly refuses and we end up in a similar place to what this episode does. For the sake of what this episode is doing, lets say Carl's dad doesn't let him in the garage and we go from there... During the game scene, Carl mentions that he checked the Wheezer garage and the item wasn't there. The two meet up with Sheen there, for the same reason as this episode, and they use Gaddard to find the item. Sheen notices where it is and brings up that he originally was in the area to give a message to Jimmy's Dad and he just forgot. We can get Jimmy and Carl both angry at Sheen, Jimmy and Carl go to get the item (Sam could be against them taking it if the episode needs runtime) and it ends with the boys collectively returning it. That would have been better IMHO.
@@Zacman1123 His exact words were "I'm going to invent a way around this feud." He didn't say he was going to invent a way to end it but a way to work around it to still hang out with Carl.
@@Zacman1123 His house rule was "No interaction with the Wheezers". Jimmy saying he is going to invent a way around the feud to hang out with Carl is going against that rule. Even if the rule should not exist, its still a problem if a child tells their father to their face that they are going to disobey that rule.
That just makes Hugh's reaction even worse. Like, if I lived in the 1800's and one of the rules of my household was "no colored folk allowed", I'd be morally and ethically justified in going against that openly, while them doubling down on it in response would make them even worse. A parent should be called out for their bs because they're flesh and blood and cartilage and will be in the ground one day like all the rest of us.
I forgot about this episode. Thinking back, I think about how quickly the argument went to smashing things. I know it's for the episode not being like a literal movie, but the amount of anger, almost pointed insults make me think that these arguments while not always shown, must happen a lot. And enough to the point that neither one of them had much patience. Also, suburban yard perfectionism has got to be one of the worst things, be it neighbors or family members you live with being obsessed with it. I agree with that.
The episodic shows always push a full story into the runtime. A feud or disaster have to play out fast on screen, but irl it can start that fast. Lifelong friends and then one parent finds out the other family is 2 dads or is a different belief system. And suddenly they're forced to be separated.
Funny story, when i was little, and Sheen sang his message from Sam at the end, i didn't really pay attention to what he was singing and just thought the others were pissed at him for being annoying. Lol.
I had a neighbor that spent 4 hours manicuring his lawn every Saturday. Our lawns were tiny. He used a ruler and scissors to make sure it was correct to the cm. This was a very good video also. My dad was so bad for this, My brother got into a fight with my best friend's younger brother at school, I wasn't allowed to hang out with her. My Oma said something shity about my step mom, my brother and me weren't allowed to go to any family celebrations that she would be at. Fun little story I live in a very rural area and our last crooked mayor Tried to pass an ordinance that if your grass was over a certain length she'd have her son come onto your property and cut it without permission and charge people whatever price he deemed fit and keep in mind people here have 100+ acre properties so my dad showed up at the meeting and told her due to environmental laws we could all stop cutting our grass entirely and there's nothing she could do about it

I was a very shy kid and didn't live with my dad and I had one friend who lived next door. My dad got into a fight with the neighbor and I was never allowed to play with them again but was also treated poorly for never playing with friends. My mom who I lived with lived really really far away. I don't have kids but I don't even like getting my friends involved in a argument between me and another friend.
I genuinely love your video, I want you analyze jimmy Christmas special or when jimmy getting a job at burger joint. Since those episodes show the worse of jimmy and I want to know what you think of it? Just my Suggestion Either way. Awesome video❤️✨️
Definitely agree with that comment about how Jimmy’s lab is a sacred place for him and how wrong it was to block access to that just because of his feud with Carl’s father. Imagine if your parent not only forbids any and all forms of contact with your best friend, but also takes away all of your toys and devices, not to punish you for something you did wrong, because they got into an argument with someone else. There is NO justifying that kind of wrong!
I agree but i think the reason was because Jimmy blatantly said he was going to use his lab to disobey his dads (stupid) wishes. Had Jimmy not said anything about that i dont think hed have been cut off. But i do agree with you :)
You're an amazing dude Shawn, seriously, the effort and time you put into these videos not only shows but is extremely appreciated. I wish you and your CZcams career the best and look forward to your future videos
Just goes to show you that parents can be even more childish than their kids. Difference being that even shown they were wrong and being childish, the parents won't admit it but when it's the other way around, they'll force their kids to admit they were at fault. Or at least the ones I knew.
Is there a reason why there is like an entire Jimmy Neutron episode at the end of the video? Sure its the episode you were talking about but it still seems out of place, especially the lack of audio for the episode
I know this would be a lot of work but at some point, I would love a deep dive into the entire Jimmy Neutron series or at least season 1 similar to what you did with season 1 of Spongebob. and maybe the other seasons of both shows! Same with Fairly Odd Parents, Rugrats, Powerpuff Girls, among others. Obviously no rush cause again, I know that's a lot of work but just throwing it out there! 😊
It’s worth noting that while the conflict is stupid it does highlight Hugh’s biggest recurring vice: Pride Where Jack can be ignorant and Raymundo can lose his temper, Hugh is a stubborn donkey of a man at times with the other big example of this being the camping episode.
I heard a quote from history’s “hayfields and McCoy” mini series, “our kids won’t care about our grudges and slights from long ago and their kids won’t even know.”
YES! Thank you, DuskTillShawn! Thank you for telling the truth about this episode. You’re telling me that a grown ass man like Hugh LENDS something as important to him as his lawn looper to someone and then just FORGETS ABOUT IT?!?! Nope! Nope! Not buying it! Everyone, maybe not including Sheen, should have been angry at Hugh, NOT Sheen!!!! The writers and creators of Jimmy Neutron SERIOUSLY blew it with that episode!
I understand you doing a dad video probably came from the fact that your dad is Really going through it I Really hope he can retain some peace and comfort towards the end of his journey as you guys spend as much time as you can I hope he’s doing good for the most part may peace be with you Shawn
I think the logic behind a family feud is that members of the other family will side with that family and might influence the loyalty your own family members. Of course, Jimmy was already friends with Carl and making Jimmy choose between the two basically made him go "Hey Dad, I am going to destroy your precious lawn by crab-grassing it to see Carl again." A family feud only wors if those inter-family ties don't exist or are prevented/destroyed.
It definitely bugged me as a kid but more for the "well Jimmy and Carl didn't do nothin' why are they being punished?" but as an adult when I've rewatched the episode it's more of "Why didn't Hugh just go check his garage (maybe it's implied in the dialogue, but if that's the case I didn't pick up on it) and see" and yea, chalk it up to we need a conflict for the story to happen but it's still a bizarre overreaction on the fathers parts to have of completely cutting off each others families from their lives. I will say though Carls moms reaction to her husbands allergy is bizarre as well, but we don't really have the interaction before that as context to go off (did either of the Wheezer parents question the ingredients? Shouldn't Judy have known all of the allergies of the members of the Wheezer family if she was going to make food as a peace offering? etc)
Its just because of some people's twisted way of seeing things, it doesn't just happen between families, it can also happen between friendships and stuff. I remember in school having classmates that didn't like one another, and they would usually force me to choose between hanging out between them, when they had so many things in common such as liking Pokemon and stuff, but for some reason they just couldn't get along, and I never really understood it because I tried to be likeable to everybody, but I guess that is just how some people are, where they don't sit down to settle their differences, but instead blindly judge and dislike each other, without even giving a chance to understand each other better, under some misguided sense of self and what they know about the world, because I can understand getting off feelings from a stranger, maybe your gut might be telling you that someone is not to be trusted or something, but it should be people's responsibilities to see past that, since everyone has something to offer, and every single person has both capacities to do good or evil, and unless given the chance you won't get to know someone's true nature, and some of the people that I thought were idiots or rude under first impression, after getting to know some of them I was surprised how good I could get along with them, despite not initially liking them.
I have no idea why, but when I saw the giant plant monsters as a kid, those made me think of Harry Potter. Probably because they reminded of the Venomous Tentacula boss in some of the games.
One thing I find interesting is that there may be a possibility of their neighborhood having a Home Owners Assosiation. That would be the only legitimate reason this fight would actually happen. At least, that's my theory. Sure, the characters never stated that they had an HOA, but this kind of reaction seems more like it'd happen under stressful rulings like having grass cut a specific way to avoid getting marked down by the HOA.
I knew I'd be on the thanks screen at the end, but it's still exciting to see my name up there now! Lol. I love the episode too, Shawn. But oh boy that show's animation really age like milk 😅
I can totally relate to having a lawn obsessed neighbor. He would mow like every other day and would yell at me-when I was a kid -that my parents’ grass was to long when we mowed weekly.
It would be hilarious if there was a version of the show where they went back after being adults and seeing all of the bizarre events and results of their actions like for example sheen still being on planet sheen but either he's lost his mind or is running the place
I think it’s because I’m a dumbass, but I can’t believe I just realized how similar Hugh neutron is to howl from Malcolm in the middle. They’re basically the same character except he was just a more exaggerated version of Hal
It sucks when you can’t have friends cause your parents don’t get along. My mom didn’t hate my friends but they weren’t like my sister’s friends, who were similar religions and cultures
Feuds really do reach an all new level of stupid when you drag ANYONE into your fights. This applies to school fights, home fights, neighbor fights or the toxic online fights. They get ridiculously out of hand that when it (hopefully) comes to an end- very often the people that started it are looked upon as distinctly stupid. I’ve had the neighbor issue happen twice in my life- one of which I discovered by accident when I saw my neighbor when getting off work. For context- we had a rather great relationship! I would visit and talk to her and we’d just vibe really well about nature and life. I genuinely thought that we had a good friendship- I was wrong. That day at work I saw her and, happily, I was like “hi ms. B!!” Like I always did…. But she then gave me that almost cartoon level rich girl look where you can see the “did that just talk to me?” And snubbed me just as hard. I was so taken aback and confused and brought it up to my mom- and found the root of the problem. Apparently the two of them had a discourse at work and apparently they thought burning the entire bridge down was the way to go. I never regained that apparent friendship as she died a few years later due to physical complications. To this day I look back at that with a tragic sense of bitterness because of how petty it had all been. Online- who hasn’t had THOSE? Words don’t carry tone and people’s own psyche add what they perceive of the world- and more often than not, it leads to unnecessary fighters that we all know can lead to a CZcams drama video. Honestly- people need to get over their pride, even if I’m the right on occasion. Humbling yourself honestly comes back as good more often than not. Reap what you sow, so to speak. The truth of the matter will always come up and solve itself. Acting in anger or pride can only make you the fool in the end.
Another questionable moment fron Hugh was in "the science fair affair", where hugh builds a machine for Jimmy that sucks up and cleans any oil it sees. Later in the episode, bolbi makes an invention that unintentionally explodes oil all over the judges and get sucked up in the machine, when the gang works together to disable the machine, the judges are completely ungrateful that jimmy and his friends saved their lives. And just to rub salt in the wound, Cindy shoves a sweater over Jimmy's head, after saying positive messages about winning and losing Some father Hugh is...
One thing that does bother me about the show is how much crap Jimmy gets from the others. It's not like he builds these inventions with the intent of having them cause such problems (for example, he did not mean to cause the pants to try and take over Retroville). Even when it's somebody else's fault, he gets the blame.
All because Hugh forgot that he lent out his lawn equipment to someone else and Sheen was late to delivering the message, the boy’s friendships was nearly destroyed and their lives got put in danger.

Very true!!! It’s definitely a testament to the degree of trust between the two! 😊
Thanks for pointing that out!
@kinghyperheart1571 An eye for an eye is actually more of having the wrongdoer face equal punishment/pay to who they wronged. Hammurabi's Code will give you a more indepth explanation.
Sheen's "That'll be four bucks, please!" at the end always makes me laugh. 😂
😂😂😂 I love it.
Sheen is one of my favorite characters.
Thanks for watching, friend!
Same 🤣
Along with the dad’s reactions and I never noticed the disapproving glare Judy gives
Why is he asking for payment from the receiver rather than the sender (other than for the sake of a joke)?
@@gamemaster2819well, it _is_ Sheen. Considering he presumably took payment from Carl earlier to deliver his message, it’s possible Sheen forgot how his business worked and figured the _receiver_ paid.
Is it an absurd business tactic to have the receiver pay for something someone _else_ sent to them? Yes, very much so…
Wait, wasn’t it a subscription service? Yeah, Sheen probably just can’t remember what his business model is.
Regardless, it makes for a pretty funny (and neutral) ending where instead of being mad at Hugh, everyone’s mad at Sheen.
I never realized how much Carl’s father looks like Chuckie’s father.
😂😂 I never noticed that. You’re very right!
I knew someone who had parents who were judgemental to divorced families. If someone had a parent who passed (and the remaining parent was single) they were sketch about it. But their kid was looked down on and prevented from hanging out with kids with single parents. Those parents are now divorced with the mom of the couple being far more dangerous to her kids than any single parent of the kids friends

What about the time where Hugh Neutron dumped toxic waste from Jimmy’s Lab into the sea?
That was SO MESSED UP. lol
@@DuskTillShawn one technically, that was a lake, not the sea, and what’s worse is that Jimmy was only there to disprove a lake monster to get money for his lab so Jimmy couldn’t realistically get the money without saying that his dad broke the law and would probably pay a fine that’s way more then what the towns offering
@@ajerjavec4723 If you listen to what Hugh says when Jimmy asks him how long he has been dumping the run off from him lab, he says, "A couple of years."
I don't even know why Jimmy would have toxic waste in his lab to begin with. That's dangerous stuff.
"Sam's lawn's been overgrown, maybe he has got it?"
But Sam's lawn is still tall, he says "Mr. Estevez's lawn is shorter that was yesterday."
But Sheen's dad just cut the lawn down hard way.
I love the continuity point in this episode when they were discussing when jimmy almost destoryed the town
That doesn't narrow things down.

Sheen at least trying to be a courier for both Jimmy and Carl shows that even though he’s an absolute dipstick for a brain; he’s a true pal! He’s a real bro!
In Sheen's defense he's just a messenger. Never attack the messenger
True!!! Even without Sheen’s message, Hugh was the one who forgot that he leant out his stuff in the first place!!
@@DuskTillShawnexactly! Adults not always adulting lol they can be worse than the kids
Objection the messenger forgot to actually give the message. So he literally withheld this information without even telling either of them all the way from the start.
All he did was being late with delivering.
As I said, Jimmy Neutron is one of my favorite cartoons of the 2000s, that show is so meme gold.
Absolutely!!!
Such a legendary show.

Because at this point Sheen's just rubbing salt in the wound after all the shit both families have gone through and everyone's at their wits end.
@@ScorbunGame and also if he had delivered that message WAY SOONER then the families would've never fought
My favorite part is definitely when Jimmy's dad is called a Duck Lover, and that is what got to him 😂
I've definitely been enjoying your content and can't wait to see more!
...honestly I think Sheen got a *bit* too much hate at the end there. He forgot one message, and it's not like he expected it to lead to all this.
I agree!
Like, sure, he forgot to give Hugh the message. But even more important than that, Hugh is the one who forgot that he leant it out in the first place haha.
@@DuskTillShawn Maybe I'm biased being one of the world's few fans of Planet Sheen, but I feel Sam's the only one who REALLY has any reason to be upset with Sheen here, and evem then only so much.
@@youtubeuniversity3638the problem wasn’t that he was late though. It was that he knew the situation and that he never thought to bring it up the whole time they were arguing. Granted it was still ridiculous but I think it was warranted. Regardless Sheen was just hilarious as always.
Except that one message could have ended the entire fight and make it so jimmy and carls lives were not at stake.
Please keep this going Hugh is my favourite character in Jimmy Neutron my favourite line is I will do it I WILL LIIIIVEEE he's soo memorable and man I love Hugh
Hahahahaha I love that episode. 😂 I definitely need to talk about it soon.
Hugh is such a hilarious character.
They forgot about the time Science brought all the kid's pants to life and took over the city.
Hahahahahhaa that was a good episode! 😆
As a lawn care professional, I bust my gut when Hugh said Mr. Weezers lawn was limp and hard to manage. That whole fight was hilarious. You would be shocked to find many homeowners are like this just not as comical.
Nahh that was not Sheen’s fault he just has ADHD. I was like “NOT HUGH TRYING TO BLAME SHEEN WITH EVERYONE ELSE WHEN HE STARTED IT” 😂😂
It was 100% his fault.
Right? It’s definitely an overdone trope for sure. It usually feels SOOO out of character, too. Especially in this show lol. 😆
Exactly what I was thinking. Honestly this overdone plot is right up there with love triangles in the list of plots I'm tired of.
Higglytown Heroes did it too.
He said he was gonna invent something to end the feud not disobey Hugh's stupid.
@@Zacman1123 His exact words were "I'm going to invent a way around this feud." He didn't say he was going to invent a way to end it but a way to work around it to still hang out with Carl.
@@UzumakiHyugastill doesn't mean he said he was gonna disobey his house rules.
Hi Mr. Shawn. I just heard about your pops. . I will pray for you and the rest of your family. God Bless.
I’m so glad that you’re back!
It’s so good to be back! Thanks so much for being here, friend 💚
I always thought it was so dumb that it was all Sheen's fault. Everyone had every right to be pissed at him at the end.
The episodic shows always push a full story into the runtime. A feud or disaster have to play out fast on screen, but irl it can start that fast. Lifelong friends and then one parent finds out the other family is 2 dads or is a different belief system. And suddenly they're forced to be separated.
It’s sad, but so true! Things can escalate for the worst so quickly.
Enjoying seeing this Jimmy Neutron content and viewing it from the perspective of, "what can we learn from these characters?"

Sheen's lawn-lopper song has been stuck in my head for the last 20 years (also the "Acorn Lads" song).
As said in the description: he’s an absolutely wonderful father when this fight is a highlight of things done wrong by him. Hugh Neutron is a lovable goofball that despite wacky things like this, it’s clear in the end he loves his family and friends.

Fun little story I live in a very rural area and our last crooked mayor Tried to pass an ordinance that if your grass was over a certain length she'd have her son come onto your property and cut it without permission and charge people whatever price he deemed fit and keep in mind people here have 100+ acre properties so my dad showed up at the meeting and told her due to environmental laws we could all stop cutting our grass entirely and there's nothing she could do about it
I distinctly remember this episode along with the one with the ghost at the amusement park

The fact that both Carl and Jimmy argue yet they’re still friends! Must’ve been a good fricking lawn bro
I was a very shy kid and didn't live with my dad and I had one friend who lived next door. My dad got into a fight with the neighbor and I was never allowed to play with them again but was also treated poorly for never playing with friends. My mom who I lived with lived really really far away.

Makes me wonder Sheen snuck in Jimmy's house without Hugh noticing.

Sheen or no Sheen, the blame lies with Hugh.
Sheen is a young child of 8 or so. Hugh is an adult.
It’s worth noting that while the conflict is stupid it does highlight Hugh’s biggest recurring vice: Pride
Where Jack can be ignorant and Raymundo can lose his temper, Hugh is a stubborn donkey of a man at times with the other big example of this being the camping episode.
I heard a quote from history’s “hayfields and McCoy” mini series, “our kids won’t care about our grudges and slights from long ago and their kids won’t even know.”

I think the logic behind a family feud is that members of the other family will side with that family and might influence the loyalty your own family members.
Of course, Jimmy was already friends with Carl and making Jimmy choose between the two basically made him go "Hey Dad, I am going to destroy your precious lawn by crab-grassing it to see Carl again."
A family feud only wors if those inter-family ties don't exist or are prevented/destroyed.

Shouldn't Judy have known all of the allergies of the members of the Wheezer family if she was going to make food as a peace offering? etc)
Yo, I will never forgot that one time Hugh sent Carl to the shadow realm.

Who knew Hugh Neutron was actually a Jedi.

I think Johnny Bravo did a similar episode. I think it was slightly funnier there because the girl he was crushing on didn’t know he existed
You should look at the 2 Rocket Power specials Race Across New Zealand and The Island of the Menehune
Watching this video reminds me of how Awesome that UFO Bowl Jimmy has to eat from. Part of me always wanted that Sweet Bowl.
Reading the title, I thought this would be about the time travel episode. Where Hugh forced a women to give birth over and over.
Jimmy Doesn't know that Judy and me do it in my van every sunday
Hey i'm sorry about your dad, i lost my dad in 2017.
