Add one more point. Depending on the lie, open the face just a smidge so you can use the Bounce. If you’re in a lie Against the grain a square club face will always dig in and you’re back to folding over the sod. Plus the benefit of a slightly open face (even a few degrees) will impart more back spin enabling you to stop the ball quicker.

So I went to the short game area this afternoon to work on this move since I had gotten away from it. And during a stretch of about six minutes, I holed a pitch from 13 yards and pitch from 24 yards a pitch from 34 yards. And so I am writing you to say thank you, thank you, thank you.🙏🙏🙏
