Good explanation! For padding and margin issues, Elementor actually adds 20px space between widgets by default. So if you want to have a blank canvas for Elementor, no padding and margin between sections, columns and widgets. Go to hamburger button > site settings > layout and set the widget space to zero/0.

Many times the developers are so emersed in their work that lots of things become obvious to them. The real-world problem for many of us is that we need to grasp the practical application and understanding because it is not obvious to us. Note To Developers And Explainers: Please do not always assume the obvious. Please educate us. This video is a great example of not assuming the obvious.

That is great content! All questions left in regards to padding, marging, positioning and responsiveness were answered here. I've been working on building websites in Elementor since April this year, and have watched probably hundreds of good web tutorials that helped me to do lots of progress - I am really greatful for all that help. However, coming across this one was a different story. Unlike many others, this video brings crucial info, so well explained, full of theory and visual references, that is handy not only for newbies but for others too. I personally had so much issues in understanding the concepts of sections, columns and inline widgets in Elementor - but they are all gone now. Guess this tutorial should always rank at the second position, right after the interface explanation ones. Thanks for this and congratulations for both your designs and videos that flow so nicely and smoothly. By the way, I tried to find further info in regards to Column Gaps options and the default sizes of each, but didn't find it yet. Guess the only way to customize it is in deed through out padding and margin calculations. Thanks again and all the best! Dan

Agree with other posters. This is the best video I have seen describing columns and sections. You don't know how frustrated I was when I thought I understood one part - only for my design to totally change with my tweaks. Great video!!!

Listening and understand tutorials in English is not easy for me (yes, French people are often bad at English). But your video is so clear that I understood everything! Thank you! good work !!!

Dear Rino once again I cannot thank you enough for the wealth breadth and clarity of the information you shared with us. You're such a help! Imagine I don't even use elementor but I watch your videos because of your techniques which rock! But then again hey who knows, Kadence said they're integrating with elementor, ha! Good karma to you and greetings from Athens Greece!

Thanks for the clarity on this video. You seemed to answer each question that came up for me in later sections of the video. This one is really good.

This was incredibly helpful. I'm diving into web design, as a beginner I wouldn´t have figured it out on my own so fast. Thank you so so much!!
