Already know the answer to this one after reading the title alone… Unemployment😂
Basically, the trait is having the time to grind rank 💀
@@ulisesprec2987 yeah thats a majority of what it is. If you have the time to play a week straight at the beginning of a split then you can hit no doubt
Yeh having 10000 plus hours tends to help.
Facts.
Facts
A consistent 3 stack team.
having walls helps too
3 stack gold player can get plat, simply by being consistent. Crazy how over powered it is to have 3 teammates you can actually communicate properly with lol
not as much as aim assist@@vampcaff
@@WavyNZL- Controller needs a nerf :D
@roarbahamut9866 comical because all u play vs is controller and they yell my mnk needs a nerf. Mnk whip shots are so ez on console lol
One of the biggest factors in players reaching Pred is being able to play with other Pred players. I honestly think this is more important than just dedicating more time and playing better.
dont forget aim assist
@@WavyNZL-don’t even start with the aim assist argument pc players get op movement their whole arm to help aim while controlled just has thumb you also can download hacks
@@RozzihorseHal literally switched to controller to prove it’s broken and still people like you believe otherwise

Tap strafing, moving in deathboxes, dedicated reload and interact inputs (doors, revives, deathboxes) and better input mapping options, other movement techs exclusive to or more accessible to mouse and keyboard (zipline superjumps, regular mounting and spamming ziplines, zero momentum wall bounces and strafes, etc.)
Versus having your sensitivity lowered when looking near enemies to compensate for the lack of fine precision offered by a mouse, a compensation that is often ineffective or completely nonfunctional when enemies get TOO close, either to you or downed enemies, along with whenever they do a complete 180 while retaining all of their momentum for free.
(Even though it looks completely possible for respawn to give controller a lot of these features, especially given things like the survival slot and extra action inputs, along with the existence of paddles, such things have not been implemented, much to controller haters’ benefit)
@@sigsqrl aim assist in apex doesn't just slow down it literally follows the enemy with perfect reactions and it's way stronger than everything mnk has combined
I think something that's also incredibly important that doesn't seem obvious at first glance is to be in good physical health. All of the best apex players are fit & healthy young men under 25 and they have incredible hand-eye coordination because of it. I think physical health is a hidden factor that people don't realize is important for FPS.
You've never seen Flats in OW2, sure it's a different game but he is one of the best players in it despite your theory
@@miragemain105I’m sorry but flats is far from "one of the best players",not saying he is bad or anything

In good physical health? I dont think so buddy
After I watched this I was so motivated to play ranked. Played 3 games where I was forced to 1v6 clutch every time while my teammates did 50-0 damage, and deranked :D
We love apex ranked!!!!😊😊😊😊
Know when to run 🏃♂️ and craft banners, no one is winning a 1v6.
I play crypto 90% of the time, if not more. When people see a crypto run away, they all get the urge to quit. It's wild! Id say 40-50% of my teammates leave when they die, ranked or not. @@AlexanderMartinez-zx1tl
Love that :D at the end lol
Why are you even fighting 1v6s?
Preds gtfo the moment they even see a hint of third party. You're the problem here.
Man really said, "To get pred. All you have to do, is earn points faster than everyone else"

Everyone has a apex predators level of perseverance since you get queued with level 400+ masters, apex preds etc the moment you hit level 10.
The two biggest reasons why people are able to move up in ranked vs those who aren't able to is as follows.
1.) Knowing when to fight and push squads and knowing when to retreat and not to fight. In lower ranked lobbies people try and push every single fight and hot dropping POI's all the time and never retreating, which causes you to fail in fights nearly 50% of the time. Daltoosh made a really good comment once by saying that when you push a squad it shouldn't take you any longer than about 2 minutes to kill them, any longer than that and you are running the risk of being 3rd partied by another team. The faster you can kill a team, loot them and move on will increase your survival chances in a game.
2.) Positioning is more important than aim. There's a lot of streamers out there that don't actually have the best aim, but they are positioned in a really good place that puts them at a massive advantage meaning that they win 90% of their fights despite their aim not actually being that great.
There are lots of other factors as well which the gaming merchant is talking about. But those two facts will increase your games and your ranked gameplay massively if done right. Especially the first one.
Thanks for another awesome gaming vid TGM!!! :D Stay awesome dude!! :)
it's really healthy to fight in lowe elo for points, this way you get some taste of fight and once you rank up and it come to fight, you have this "confidence" instad of feeling that "well, we're fkt". Don't get me wrong, but if you're solo queueing, all ways take a fight, once you hit plat, try to stick with you'r 2. point and use giht only as neccesary.
But also, it's really hard to stick to position with randoms. There is borders that one player fell ok to play at, but not the other.
yes the answer is knowing when to pick fights.
yeah when I started priotizing myself and ditching my teammates when the fight goes badly, games went a lot better and I earned RP so much faster
What ive noticed is that sometimes you can be too aggressive like at 15:15 where it couldve gotten you killed but you didnt, and that you use shela from far too much and it couldve helped you win faster like at 14:30 but these are just my opinions idk if theylle help or not
I think something people are sleeping alot on this season is how important the kill multiplier is.
Lots of kills with early deaths gives very little points, same with placement with no kills.
Just a little bit like 3 or 4 kp and a top 5 is almost triple 8 or 9 kp with top 7
Get consistent at an early drop contest, rotate to zone and hold some edge teams for mid game KP, a squad wipe at the end with 3rd place and higher and you are legit climbing ranks.
@@wolfdeerbrait’s hard to do that every game though, because you aren’t going to win your 3v3’s off drop every single time, especially when it gets to D2+ and you’re fighting the best teams. Even when you do, sometimes you’ll get thirded straight away from a neighbouring POI, especially on WE and Olympus. And then just ‘rotating to ring and holding some edge teams’ isn’t as easy as it sounds either, because there can be teams you run into unintentionally, ratting, catching you off guard, etc. Even if you do rotate to the ring and hold an edge team, there’s a chance you get thirded again too. And then just ‘getting to top 3 with a few end game KP’ is again, not as easy as it sounds. It’s much easier to land uncontested, concentrate on levelling up EVO, use BH to scan when you’re rotating so you don’t get ratted on or caught out unintentionally, and lots of EVACs, so you can also use a support for banner crafting if needed, and a controller legend. Third party an easy fight if you can, but concentrate on getting a game winning position and top 5, and get late KP. Any KP after 6 counts as 50% anyway, so you should see this as just a bonus.
You know TGM, Wattson once said: it's easy to be Preadator, you just have to aim better and shot faster then the rest.
Simple, right?
wattson is pro aim assist confirmed
Meaning just buy a third party device …
As a newer rampart main your videos help me tremendously! Thank you for being such a good CZcamsr Merch
This is such a good idea for a video. Can't wait to watch the others! Keep it up!
This video was amazing😍 I’m definitely no regretting my sub!!! Keep up the funny and awesome content merchant!!!
Also it is really important to take break, playing non stop for too loks will just exaust your brain
to get pred you mostly need time. Can't wait to follow this series :)
TGM do you intentionally avoid stocks and stabilizers because it always looks like you're trying not to pick them up
Digging this series concept 🤙🏻
That Gibi/Rampart Strat was a chef's kiss ❤
Great video Merchant. Good luck on your journey to the top.
This is an interesting series, looking forwards to it.
Yay, 60fps is back. Thank you very much, I love it.
The 86 Mozambique badge would catch me so off guard if we teamed 😂😂😂 also you still play Maggie I like her with the perks I’ve seen your video but I think she’s viable in ranked to!
That thumbnail goes HARD, the best one I saw in Apex content creators so far and is way too simple.
My goal is diamond this season, I started playing the game when it first came out and never really have played ranked so my highest rank is plat. Getting top 5 is definitely one of the most important things this season so glad you mentioned it :D the lobbies you played in seemed pretty sweaty compared to what im used to so its interesting if i also can reach my goal. SInce before plat it isnt much of a challenge if you just play safe
also one thing that you simply have to do if you want pred is to 3-stack. TGM you're already easily a pred-level player in terms of macro, gun-skill, micro, like you have your essentials down. But this game isn't a solo game. Having a 3-stack who can call out every little thing to you, know exactly how you're going to play before the match starts and have a plan down from the start, and who you know can actually win 1v1s is what makes the difference. It is simply not possible to maintain pred as a purely solo player, the randoms are too variable.
LETS GOOO YOU GOT THIS MERCHANT
One trait is making sure you craft your teammates banners instead of getting a bat 😂
Keep in mind merchant keeping a consistent inventory of about 3 throwables and perfect placement of atleast 1 can change the tides of gunfights especially in situations where you cant rely on team support or team synergy
man whats ur's video settings to have this image quality? i can't find a setup but i'm running a 4070 ventus
Love the thumbnail!
You're definitely correct about teammates getting better once your out of silver 4, gold 4, plat 4, D4 ETC in plat 3 for example your more likely to get competent team mates good point you made actually makes me want to play the game aha
I think Plat is still a coin toss. You're right plat 3 you get better teammates that are mechanically really good, but some of them don't have brain cells and push really dumb fights. When you find those players that actual use their brain along with their mechanical skills, you most likely will win that game. Definitely get top 5. I think once you get to diamond, your teammates are way better because they have more to lose when they die so those teammates actually thing before they full on commit to fights.
As newcastle once said "these crappy teammates are dragging me down."
Some amped cover for ya mates
you might not be a pred (yet) but youre a pred in my heart TGM
Love the idea
I have heard 4 or 5 current preds on Xbox say all they did was rat
Yes.
I can imagine pc has similar people doing the same.
But xbox they said alot drop in 3 specific spots and they ring camp now , so to not get rig pushed, they camp circle.
Valk are mainly used .
I've been playing roughly over a month I had no wins or kills in pubs for a week so I spent 2 weeks doing gun runs and deathmatch and control then the last week got 20 kills no wins and 3 wins today! Finally 😂 this game has a very high entry level skill barrier but it's the most fun and exciting game out!
The thing is.. most of us don’t have 12 hours to play a game. But thanks for the positive message anyways.
After seasons of duo stacking and occasional solo q the trait that you need to be in highest rank you can personally achieve is having a good three stack team. I now play some more with a full 3 stack because an old friend (who has been pred multiple times but didn’t maintain at end of split is playing again. And now we are actually able to compete with the best teams. When i duo q we are too dependent on the random where we don’t even have comms with. You are not gonna get far this way. Still able to hit master this way. But takes way too long and you are not playing to your potential this way.
Plat 3 is a horrible time for me rn😂 Might be because I’m solo queuing
Gobbling caffeine stacked Proplus helps
what's the website you visited to check your stats?
What you need is to triple stack. That is how everyone hits pred. The only person who solos to Pred is Shiv, and even the pros admit he is crazy for it.
I've been Pred twice, and i'm just a regular player, got above average in aim, but we were really good at rotation and picking our fights. + we had a FATTY controller player on our team when we pushed. He had 0 sence of placement, but had the most insane aim. He made up for the lack of aim I had, and I helped him with bein' the IGL.
For real tho, if you wanna reach pred AND not waste your life away by playing 16 hrs a day in solo que - you really gotta find reliable teammates who you ENJOY playing with.
Don't play with ppl who rage EVERY time you get wiped... It will drain your mental health if you have a rager on your team.
k/d 1.88... Imagine soaring to such heights
I tend to not play ranked cause I don’t think a badge charm and banner are worth hours of time 😅
they are worth the time bc they exactly represent all the time and work you put in to earning it
This series is a great direction for the channel, the videos already feel so much more substantial
I've never been this early
you forgot 3 stacking with other preds to get around the predictive gaming AI thing
Guys, he's plat 2 now🗿
With all the clips I see of top Preds boosting, aim botting, and six manning, I doubt this is the only top you need….
Exactly lol
Does anyone know what this kill cap adj is? i just won my first game today and i got 3 kills 5 assist then theres this kill cap adj that deducted 52 rp from my total
"The best way to get to pred is to just win more"
As a SOLO PLAYER who hit Pred once in the camping season....I can confirm how bad it was for my mental health 😂😂 but.....I HAVE MY BADGE.
Having 8 hours of day to waste and the mental stamina to endure it.
Average damage if 788 is far from average. lol. That’s definitely towards the upper percentage of Apex players. I’m in the 700s as well for career damage average. I’m a solo player, if I stacked it would’ve been way better.
Running with a consistent team has so many advantages that i think you underestimate 9r discount because it doesn't make for as good of content. Playing without good comms or knowing what to expect from your teammates or a good legend synergy is always worse. Plus you rarely appear to choose to not fight or to seek safety / loot / positioning when there's a fight. It's better to be last to a fight rather than first which requires waiting and patience sometimes. Let the lobby do your job for you, then clean up.
I am HARD stuck Gold one right now.. it’s rough. This season is probably the best ranked and the hardest ranked season so far.
Wait til you get plat lol
Assist gives you similar rp as kills, so the best outcome is 6k 6A and Top 5+
Bro, I'm going to pray for you hahaha I got to top 352 in OW1 console but that took me grinding from silver 1800 over 7 seasons forcing Rein/Zarya but that feels like an easier job than Predator simply because there's more random factors involved in this game imo
good
how do you see your current rank?
Wait what!? I thought TGM was Apex predator 😳
As a solo queuing player... I feel like diamond is impossible. Too many y times teammates feel the need to hot drop on 3 other teams or just not drop with our team at all
Not many people can solo to pred.Usually preds squad up with other preds. Having really good teammates is one of the most important things to have.
I'ma let you in on a secret: the single trick that all pros use to get to Predator in ranked which you can not teach is having enough time and desire to spend on Apex Legends to get to Predator. It isn't a real ranked mode. It mainly ranks how much you play
Aiming plain and simple 😂
Don't forget positioning, timing, and risk management.
pogg
is there a way to increase sensitivity on controller just for the shiela, u can not turn that thing on controller
Adjust your per optic settings for whatever magnification the Sheila is when you aim in. Not too sure what it is without checking, but for example if Sheila ADS when zoomed in is 3x, turn up your 3x sensitivity in per optic settings
I only have 877,070 players ahead of me. I’m sure by the end of the season we will both be Apex Predators
lets gooo
"out of horrible platinum 4". Meanwhile I'm in silver 2 where i belong 0_0.
He just like me fr 😱
TLDW: Perseverance and Mental Toughness to go through the hard times during ranking up.
Me and my bro need a third for ranked. We’re on ps5, 1.7 kd players who consistently hit diamond, duo queuing.
The main issue isn't individual Skill, it teamwork. Get a solid team of at least consistent Master's players and you'll hit Pred with enough game time. Most preds don't solo queue
Surprised you have never made pred😂
He plays solo all time. No wonder he never hit pred with how respawn and their good matchmaking gives you rookies that are playing in a duo que with their gold 1 teammate!
Last round I had to explain weapon attachments to a dude that literally had 49 kills (career) on his new banner and he was playing with his gold 1 friend wich honestly wasnt that bad but also fairly new to the game... I have ~4000 hours in the game got to masters multiple times fairly easy and I always get really lucky with my random teammates...
I also just downranked from plat 3 to plat 4 and I think im down like -600RP only from playing for like 2 hours today...
the thing you never have
"Good PC"
1 thing I got that apex preds dont. A real job
It’s simple it’s all who puts in the most time. You have to be either be unemployed or working part time unless you somehow get paid to play the game.
I held pred in season 18 on PlayStation 600-750 for pretty much the whole season untill I lost the spot in the last hour of the season lol and finished 755 I was gutted and said to myself I’m never doing that again.
Are stick to masters which is the same rank technically as pred the rp cost is the same and reward rp the same being pred just means your in the top ranked masters and play more then the other players do.
I’m very sorry that happened to you bro. You’re cracked for holding that Pred spot the whole season. Very unfortunate, you’re definitely a cracked player bro and you don’t need a Pred badge to prove anything. Hope you still enjoy the game.
Chicken Burgah
Man you're planing to go solo to pred while I'm praying to go solo to diamond
😮
1. Play with a capable team
2. Stick with that team
Solos after getting to Diamond is just frustrating...
to be Predator = 2 more predator players.

Is the missing trait playing 12 hours a day?
Number one trick config files.
Im so bad i cant get out if the lobby
Also playing with a 3stack helps. I'd love to know how many purely soloq preds there are. 🤔
Likely legitimately none. Masters sure. Pred not so likely.
Real soloq preds with a life outside of apex have the at least the skill level of a challenger circuit player.
Nah the real skill we're missing is the 6 manning for pred (this season) or if we're talking last season it's the storm camping skill.
Instead of the terrible granade perk octane has he should have faster reload while stimed
the only legit way to be pred in ANY season of this game is to have consistent squad of players who are all decent and have same goal and level of motivation, your team doesnt even have to be prev seasons preds, just as long as you guys are at least diamond level of skill and have good communication you will be pred pretty fast. and for soloq, all there is to recommend, aside from raw mechanics is patience, loads of copium and having lot of free time lol
I'm gonna be totally honest: what most players (including myself) lack is the ability to properly aim-track those crazy-moving cockroach skittering players. This game is SUPER tracking based.
1) unemployed stacked team 2) cheats 3) play at least 16 hours a day
Okay from someone like me who plays since day 1. I´m a multiple time Master player and I only play ranked for about 3 days a week and that for like 3-4 hours on those days. To get to pred the number 1 important thing is to even have time doing so and in the end you also need to stay IN Pred. The other important things are your aim, that´s priority number 1, hit your shots or you just out. And then it comes to game sense, team dynamic and rotation. If you have all those 3 mastered, there is nothing to stop you from gaining Pred.
This reads like you’re maybe 13 years old and use buzz words to try and sound smart
My aim is the only reason i cant get pred 😂. I practice it everyday in the range but still lose to missing every shot (i got 4k hours on apex & 500h of practicing aiming)
@@888CODfan If that´s the case, then I´m sorry, english is not my native language. I´m actually 25 and I have 5.000 hours in Apex, so what I wrote there I truly mean.
@@updownleftright883probably because you panic, also if you keep believing youll miss your shots then thatll be cemented in your subconscious and will affect how you consciously play the game
Dude, 30,000th in the world is pretty dang good considering how many are playing. How do I find out where I am, BTW?
You dont think playing octane had anything to do with it?
Ive just realised this season since all the sweats came back that im actually not cut out for apex or ever getting close to being good at the game. Theres so many unspoken skills these guys have that only hours and years of fps experience can teach you. This is my first fps game and probably my last, ill never be able to learn those skills in a timely manner and if i did, everyone would still be 10 steps ahead of me. Ive officially been apex backpilled.
lol
People who are already very good improve at a slower rate than newer players like you, skill improvement is not linear.
