Something too I learned playing a lot of naut is the w is an AA reset. So what I found works best is to q or run up engage auto>half way through the swing W (animation cancels) >e because passive root is up and they get hit will all 3 >auto or q and get a few swings in. It’s insane how much burst this guy can do even as a tank level 3

the amount of ppl who doesnt know w is an auto reset or doesnt use it infuriates me so much. Naut does so much dmg with just a few extra auto and w on hit dmg.
Since the W is an auto reset I always start combos with AA -> W -> AA, gets you a bit more damage output!

Deffinitly THE way to go. Naut has one of the smoothest AA cancels in the game. You can Q->AA->W->AA->E for a simple and small trade or engage early on.

As someone who plays Naut, I actually have to say that going E max first feels so good on him. More damage and slow always helps plus it lowers cooldown so its more spammy. Of course having your hook more is nice but I just like that extra damage and slow.
That’s interesting - I see that less than 1% of Nauts max E so I’ve never tried it but his kit honestly offers so much regardless!

For someone learning nautilus and trying to help their team as much as possible, what runs page is better, glacial or aftershock?(btw I love your videos I always look at them when learning a new champ, and are straightforward)
If you want to help your team more Glacial is the pick, but if you want to be able to survive going in more aftershock is the pick!
I've been watching your videos as a non-LoL player. I think you do a great job with these guides and it definitely interests me in trying the game, although I wonder if I'd be coming in too late.

When you're explaining the combos, It would b great if you wrote them on screen at the same time as you speak very fast, for example: W > AA > E > Q.
Yes I do need to start doing this, whenever I've messed around with it I've never quite got it right!
aa before shield. shield grants you another immediate aa right after

They should increase the HP scaling of the shield. If they make it 20% or something, with 5000 hp you'd get a big, meaty 1000 hp shield
And then heartsteel naut would be the best build, and all would be well
I think they’re afraid of making him like season 5 nautilus again where he became unkillable - his kit just offers way too much already 😂

I would disagree with Q Max. Personally, i Max W first. You rarely fight more then once in a Minute. And if i engage, i have more then enough cc. So in my point of view, maxing W gives me a bigger Shield and more damage with my aa.
But most of the time i hear maxing e for a better slow. Maxing Q sounds useless, since you will never engage every time your Q is off cooldown immidietly.
W max is definitely what people used to do before the changes to his Qs cooldown but still a great choice if that’s your play style!
Evenshroud is also a viable mythic, but locket is safer
Yeah if I’m ever decently ahead I go evenshroud but most of the time locket is just always great value!
