Something about drab greens, black and greys look phenomenal to me. Building a custom Tikka as well. I ended up in a MDT chassis with a heavy ss Bartlein barrel. Thinking i found the right pick of a rifle smith in my area this week. Hope to leave the barrel with him this weekend. Not cheap considering the average going rate to rebarrel a rifle. But sure dont want to leave that up to someone who doesn't have that particular machineing skill in the bag. My Tikka has served me well all throughout its transformation from a lite hunting rifle into more of a tac, target precision rifle. It had a few different loadings, factory and reloads that were 1/2 moa or better.
Yeah it’s only a matter of time I think until they do. They have the 6.5 and 300. All they would need to do is chamber barrels in it. Their actions cover a wide range.
I tried to deal with mountain tactical. I found them rude, uninformative, and just not willing to do business with a Canadian. I ordered from Australia instead for my Tikka. Way better pricing than Mountian tactical. And even during covid beginnings the shipping wasn't too bad. Bottom metal, shrouds, and bolt handles + more. Amazing company to deal with. So here's to mountian tactical. Sux it because you suck!
That's a sweet setup! Looking forward to seeing it assembled and shot.

Looks like is gonna be a beautiful rifle. Looking forward to see it when it's done
Thanks for the info, especially the Bolt shroud.
Thinking of doing a similar build, can't wait for the next video.
Thank you 😊
Looks great 👍🏽
Love the videos, learned a lot from watching.
OOOOh sweet!
Great looking build! What is the total cost of this build? Ive been looking at fierce carbon rifles, but this looks just as solid !
very nice and tikka doesnt do 7 PRC yet I was told.

Any issues with the action and bolt being cerakoted?
No it cycles and performs flawlessly.
Please tell me who would make carbon stock for tikka that is good
Ag composites, manner, and McMillan IMO
Bought a Mesa Precision Altitude stock and super happy. I think they changed their name to Pure Precision.
How is the bolt now that its coated ??? Still smooth
Believe it or not it’s still smooth. There is some difference but still money.
