  • The Small Business Subcommittee on Contracting and Workforce held a hearing titled Unlocking Opportunities: Recidivism versus Fair Competition in Federal Contracting on June 28, 2012. The hearing specifically addressed whether contracting preferences provided to Federal Prison Industries, commonly known as UNICOR, unfairly disadvantage small businesses competing for federal contracts.

      I believe CZcams is holding out on replies, my opinion.... No way with half of the people incarcerated,,,no freaking way.

    The evolution…incarceration of marginalized groups at alarmingly disproportionate rates often for petty offenses…the rebranding of slavery = convict leasing…labor leasing and forced labor. Government vs Private industry regarding who controls minority populations and to what level of profit is little more than a modern version of the Civil War.
