This is a very timely video of this fantastic Asian garden. So much plant material. We are in the midst of putting in a Japanese garden, with mostly Japanese Maples in a large area of our property, so this has some great ideas. Thanks for touring and looking forward to the rest.

Pretty darn sure I’ve toured their garden several years ago. I recall a spectacular garden on one of the area tours. It had ducks, etc in buildings. Must be the same one as not many private gardens look like that! Beautiful!!!

There are “clumping” bamboo varieties that I am told will not take over a landscape. Is that true? Will “clumping” bamboo also take over? I just LOVE the bamboo!
They are much slower at taking over and are not considered invasive.

It's Japanese dwarf bamboo. It 's very invasive. I planted in the concrete barrier .
Why on earth would anyone plant equisetum,,???? I hope I'm spelling it correctly....
It's isolated in the water. Can't really go anywhere
