Really cool. The 150 I'm time-building in at my flight school has a nearly identical avionics setup. Same GPS, but with an analogue nav 1 CDI. I haven't taken it IFR since the attitude indicator is kinda screwy, getting out of alignment in flight quite frequently. The compass also has ridiculous deviations of 9 degrees on some headings, so its a pain trying to get the DG accurately synced with mag north.

Thanks. Mine was like that when I bought it. I invested 16k to get the GNX375 and GI275 installed. My DG sucks too so the HSI from the GI275 comes in very handy.

Nice video again. When you're looking for 90knots on your approach are looking at your gps or airspeed indicator and doing a calculating for ground speed based on indicated and reported winds? Just curious how you're doing it. Years ago before gps we use to have to do a wind calculation with an E6B to get our ground speed. Was a pain while flying IMC and a lot of action going on in the cockpit. I'm just getting back into IFR and will ask my instructor once I start again.

Thanks. The GNX375 gives me the ground speed. My iPad is also synced with the GNX375, so I also get it that way.
