  • Garden Home host P. Allen Smith demonstrates how easy it is to plant hydrangeas in a container.
Container gardens are an excellent way to add even more life to a garden, saturating it with color by adding seasonal blooms. The control that using containers provides increases the personality and visual impact of your garden.
    Topics Include:
    Hydrangea Container Planting
    Soil for Hydrangeas
    Color Changing Hydrangeas
"Bloom with Us" is a partnership with First Community Bank and P. Allen Smith to design and install pollinator gardens in an effort to raise awareness of the benefits of pollinators.

There are so many wonderful varieties of hydrangeas! The newer dwarf varieties make it easier for people with smaller yard to incorporate in their landscape. I definitely want to try a hydrangea in a pot this year!

Agree! I like how he explains things clearly (for new gardeners like myself). He is a rock star! I enjoy his CZcams videos and learning more from him.

Love old school plants, I live in Tropical Queensland, I wonder how these would work...I also Love Love Agapanthus, they look terrific either side of paths or driveways.

I have had the hardest time growing hydrangeas (and lavender). I have managed to kill every one I’ve ever tried to grow. Can you give us more information? Like where to grow, what kind of soil, moisture needs and such?
