The world of coach drivers awaits you! Drive along motorways and country roads to the bus stations in over 40 cities in Germany. Thanks to the cooperation with FlixBus and true-to-the-original MAN buses, you will experience the game world in a realistic way.
ABOUT THIS GAME
Thanks to the cooperation with FlixBus, the Fernbus Coach Simulator lets you experience the world of driving a large coach on Germany's Autobahn and motorways in great detail.
Driving a large and modern MAN Lion’s Coach bus, you will experience the everyday life of a coach bus driver. Navigate a complex network of motorways and roads to bus stations in more than 40 German cities and stay in constant contact with the control centre.
Drive your bus carefully on the highways by day and night, in all seasons and in all weathers. Approximately 20.000 km of the German FlixBus route network have been recreated. Time passes at a scale of 1:10 so that the individual tours do not take too long.
As in real life, passengers who already have a valid ticket can board the bus immediately at the bus stops while the other passengers have to buy a new ticket from the driver.
Both licenced MAN coaches are equipped with original cockpits including all functions. The interior and exterior of the busses are modelled in great detail and the original passenger announcements create a realistic atmosphere. Construction sites, traffic jams and accidents will challenge you to keep up with the tight schedule.

This game replaced ETS 2 for console players. Pretty good game. I really enjoy this game.
I bought Fernbus Simulator on Steam ages ago. I've never really played it because I tried playing in arcade control and it was terrible. I switched to realistic mode and it works fine.
I've not even done an actual journey yet.

I've made the same mistake. I have adjusted the air conditioner to 28 degrees, yet the passengers were still cold. Then i realized you have to turn it on with the snow icon next to it

Great information, in a great video. I have been playing it since release but still picked up some useful information.
As it has been a while now I expect you already know, if I am correct. The express check in, I am pretty sure that it is something that has to be unlocked. It doesn't take very long to unlock it though. That would be why you did not notice it before hand.

Spot on good video just got today on Xbox find menus confusing but playable on ps5 you can go to the 3 city's you can't on Xbox
Cheers man. Yes they are a bit. I didn't know about the PS5 to be honest.
Couple of pointers...
The audio menus, the 2 sliders with those extra icons next to them, if you highlight the slider and press your normal button, it opens that slider to a more detailed selection of audio sliders.
The ticket system.
You commented about the third method of ticket, the one you sell direct, that it also has a QR code but you can't scan it. Well there's no need as you know it's legitimate as you've just sold it. I believe in the real world, you can buy a ticket from any bus driver, even if you don't plan to use that particular bus, but maybe a later one? So essentially the QR code is there for scanning at a later time. I have considered trying to sell a ticket for the wrong destination and see if I can then say to the passenger, no you can't travel on this bus with the cancel button?
The passenger monitors do work, you've just never checked the bus after switching them on...they are screens that show the passengers the current route and destination. Nect time get out of your seat and take a walk down the bus.
Yes I knew about the sliders and forgot to mention them 🙄. Yeah you're right, in the real world a ticket sold at the time wouldn't really need to be verified. Re the monitors I presumed it would be a digital pop up camera on the hud like the mirrors. I'm sure I've seen a video of someone with that. I'll take a look next time.
The amount of AI traffic is insane. I can't even get out of the depot before crashing into a car or van because no one let's you out. In fact it's very real life 😂

What's wierd, why would the developers leave settings in graphics section if you can't change them? Like quality and so on x can't even change shadows either to low
I've always dreamed to see the day when this game would arrive on consoles ( since way back in 2016 when it got released on PC) and for the most part I'm very pleased with the game so far. However the framerate on Xbox Series S is not good at all, especially in countries like France the lag is unbearable and I barely get 25 fps. I really hope that with the next updates they'll work on the performance
Hi Christina. Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel. Yeah the graphics aren't 100% on any of the consoles to be honest but I know the series s has particular issues. Fabian has said that the upcoming update will lock the series s at 30 FPS so I'm afraid that's not good news for you. The reason he gives is that it's to solve the other rendering issues which are happening. Anyway, let's hope they sort the game out for all of us to the best that they can.
@@beetlnees Sorry to say this but Fabian is talking nonsense if he thinks the Series S is a bad console. Probably he has never Forza Horizon 5 which runs with 60 fps on Series S. It might sound harsh but this person is clueless. It's very easy to put the blame on the player if they were too lazy to test the game properly. Makes me wonder why he invited beta testers for the Series S if they didn't do anything and yet you pay for a broken game. Sorry but this is not acceptable imo
Please don't apologise to me. I'm not a friend of his 😂. You obviously feel strongly about the situation and I would too in your shoes. A lot of games are released in a poor state and yes to a point it's unacceptable. No dev can produce a perfect game because it would never get released but there are good devs and sloppy devs unfortunately. I'm not pointing fingers however as I don't know the circumstances behind the issues. It's dangerous to compare games though sometimes because sims particularly are notorious processor hoggers. I can only say how my experience is on Series X. As I said in my previous message, let's hope they can sort it out. 👍
@@christinamayers3234 sorry, but apples and oranges 🙄 you compare an arcade game to a simulation with real-time physics calculations, real controls and a representation of central Europe on a 1:10 scale. We are talking about a huge map, you can drive for hours. It was extremely ambitious to develop this 7 years ago. Don’t compare toys to downscaled models. Do you have any idea how hardware intense all of this is compared to super optimised action arcade racers on relatively small maps with a very limited amount of npcs who don’t react to any traffic lights and rules?
I’m not a dev, but that’s exactly why I don’t judge and respect their work.
@@unholy_mr_brown6378 Sorry but I have to disagree. TML games run bad even on a high end gaming PC. Besides you don't have to be a dev to realise that TML is just not good at optimizing their games. If you ask me they shouldn't have released Fernbus on Series S if they knew the console couldn't handle it. It's not an opinion it's a fact. They rushed the release like Tourist Bus 'cause they only care about a quick cash grab. That's the sad truth with many devs nowadays. For instance people are constantly whining why GTA 6 takes so long but those people would be the first to complain if GTA 6 was rushed and full of bugs
I would like to buy this game on Xbox series S but I can't buy it. I am able to buy every other game from the xbox store but this one. Is there anyone who had the same problems? Thank you for your answers! (I don't think it is a regional problem, because there are reviews from Hungary on the microsoft store)

During customising my bus, my mirrors have disappeared, how do add them back, there's no simple solution here

Your guess is as good as mine. I don't see why it couldn't be implemented but I'll bet it won't be. A lot of these games seem to be basic driving Sims without much substance. They'll release a few DLC buses and maps and it's off to the next game in the pipeline. I don't mind too much as I just enjoy the driving and the views but it would be something different. MSFS is a great SIM but currently there are no mission just flying around from a to b. The 2024 version is supposed to have some mission content though.

It annoyed me how the bus auto moves forward and u have to hold brake to stop it from auto moving forwards
I bought it 3 times. Made refunds 2 times. Now I think this game is better with UE5 , not perfect but more beautiful and less stuttering. They need to refine it but for me this game is now enjoyable in PC
Haha. You're as bad as me. I have emails from Steam saying I am asking for too many refunds 😆. The problem with GeForce now is occasionally you get a game that just doesn't work properly and I don't think they understand that. GeForce Now say It works with a gamepad for instance and you get the game and it doesn't. Yes Fernbus is turning into a real good game.
1st I think the reason the game is not playing well for some of you is because... You keep changing the settings....Those settings do not make the game better. That is in you alls mind. I NEVER change settings on any of my games and they play fine. It's wayyyyy too many of these videos out right now. The default settings are always better on all games. I'm afraid I disagree. If the traffic is left on 100 it's unbearable. In eurotruck 2 my v sync is turned off every time I play making the graphics choppy. The steering is also too abrupt for me so I turned it down a notch. The settings are there for a reason. I do agree a lot is to do with the port and/or game itself. BUT if you're happy on default settings who am I to argue. 😊
@@beetlnees 1st I don't even have a PC. I'm a console player. LOL But I think you make a good point. I guess my point is, I think it's bad any of you guys doing these videos have to even change any settings. The game should run smooth PERIOD. I'm critical but not on you guys. Peace
