Sister I've been asking God for a sign if I am really being called to this vocation. And today, the 1st of January, I came across this video. I can't help but cry. God I love you so much. I don't know what the future holds but I trust God and His divine will.

I may be entering soon with a Cloistered/contemplative order dedicated to Eucharistic Adoration and I can tell you how much God surprises! He is a God of surprises! Let Him lead and focus on daily mental prayer (gabiafterhours a channel of a Catholic CZcamsr is awesome at explaining mental prayer in his new video). This will help a lot in your discernment and is so simple to do! God bless you on your journey🙏🏻
I feel like I've had a call many times over throughout my lifetime. I was back and forth on my faith but fully devoted now. After 15 years with an atheist abuser I'm free and my children are a few years away from adulthood. I've prayed and my continued prayer will be that if Christ does not have a blessed catholic marriage for me by the time my children are grown 5 years from now, then I'll be taking the veil. I can give you a hint of which I'm feeling more pulled to and where i know ill find the most love 💒🙏💕
How will that work out if you have grandchildren though? I'm not saying you aren't called to that, you might very well be. I'm just trying to imagine being a mother in that situation.
@@JP2GiannaT it really depends on what ministry I'd go into. Cloistered nuns usually stay in their convent and can have visitors. Others such as missionaries can visit family at certain times.
@Pink Voyager you cannot become any part of the clergy while you have minor children. My spiritual work right now is raising my children. When they are grown I'd like to spend the second half of my life in the church
When I was young I enter in the convent twice but God send me to my family...I went out..now I am already 48 still single and I find out myself love to pray...now I am looking my way to find which I belong..

Prophet Solomon, pray for me. Jesus King of Mercy and Prophet Solomon defend me from the religious seeking money from the laity and then pointing spiritual weapons at them. I would advise instead that they seek Him and all pray to St. Teresa of Avila and do more purity of heart 😂
I understand and respect your explanation, but how about many good men in seminaries been sexually abuse by their superiors? Many left till the seminaries been closed down till now.
This kind of abuse happens in many areas of life, we have to remember we are all sinful human creations...evil exists everywhere! We are all sinners we have to fight against temptations.....

I think I was also called for monastic life. But when I joined the Carthusians and Trappists , it suddenly went away.
