This Amazing hike takes us Deep into Beautiful Horseshoe Canyon with 4 distinct Pictograph Sites: The High Gallery, Horseshoe Gallery, The Alcove and Most Famous - The Great Gallery! These ancient, world renowned rock art murals are as much as 7 feet tall and many are 10'-20' above solid ground high on the walls of the canyon. The hike is 7 miles of sandy desert walking as well as a steep rocky section near the trail head of about 600 vertical feet, where one enters and exits the canyon.
