Wow! I remember I was in Grade 5 in Junior secondary school, circa 2001 when Yizo Yizo the return came on. At home we were prohibited from watching it and I would always here about it from my friends at school when they talk about the series and its characters, the likes of Sticks, Bobo, Kekeletso etc. and therefore I would always feel the FOMO. I only got to watch Yizo Yizo the return when it was on repeat circa 2004 when I was a bit older than in 2001. I still remember at that year 2001 in Junior secondary school, as the people from Bibo (the kiddies beverage that was popular back then), they came to our school to entertain us and to make us play games in order to win prizes. Then they played this song "Avulekile amasamgo" and I remember we went crazy at that part where it says "Oh thina siphuma emnqamlezweni, sikhululekile, sigezwa izono ngegazi!" I'm just saying, those were the days.❤
