Great video Travis!!! I've learned so much from watching your videos about coral placement. Thanks for all of your hard work❤
Awesome videos me and my son always learning new things from you thanks for keeping this hobby interesting and always willing to help others may God repay you in many ways !!!
I want to start and this is the only vid that help so I like to say thanks
These videos are super informative and I look forward for more to come. Awesome display btw
Great video dude… I dip my corals in dettol, It costs £1 and is exactly the same as the expensive stuff… got ya self a new sub
Excellent Presentation
This is such a great video, thanks!
Was looking forward to this video for some time ! Great vid as always , thx for sharing !
Would be nice if you showed how to dip and quarantine coral
Thanks your input it was informative 👍🏾
I know this is a comment on an old video and somewhat off topic, but I love your silver moonyfish. I've never seen them for sale before
I got Hollywood Stunner for free and didn’t want to be rude so I took it and put it in th back of my rock work. Grows like a weed and man do they have sweeper tentacles!
Yea im not the biggest fan
What would you recommend for temporary coral attachment to rocks? I don't have a flat rock structure so it hard to just rest corals on the Rock. I don't want to super glue or epoxy it till I know it is happy in that location. But unfortunately the corals will not stay without something to hold it in place.
Great learning blog , watch all your videos, what your doing is great keep it up 👍
1k thumbs up right here love the video too
Great guide to LPS coral keeping Travis. Your on point with all your suggestions and from experience I have had all these situations happen.
Nice info Travis!
thanks for all the videos and info keep it up!!! great rock work and coral placement across the whole tank. just need more on that bare bottom ... hurts the eyes lol. A GSP field would look great !!!
I wouldnt put gsp in this tank if you gave me cash for how much the system $
@@FishOfHex cyphastreas would look nice.
thanks for the tips :)
Great video
Tortch and hammer corral go fine together. I am not an expert and they probbably can sting other coral, but i have not seen issues before
what is 10:52. Like that it is tall. I wanted one that is tall and branching in a beginner tank. Is acan a easy beginner even though it is sps? also birdnest. I wanted to see if I can exchange corals I got on a live sale for them before they are shipped. I have no skimmer ect, 10 gallon anao, and am a newbie. Can I leave corals on frags until I figure out where to put thm and do Chalise stingg? Ijust bought one and often see thm next to other corals? Thanks. Tank looks great!
quarantine for 30 days lol
Hi travis, is it safe to use metal tools when doing maintenance in the tank ?
I use stainless steal only
Is bright light necessary to quarantine coral?
I use close to same par they will be sitting at in the MDT
Question that no one is answering me, i have a couple of heads of torch coral purple and I want to switch with friend one head of purple for one green head. Can I glue the green head on the branch where the purple was or near the purple colony?
Near but not on
No matter where i put my scoly it gets blasted 😂 only place with low flow is jnder the shade.
What are the flowing ones on the bottom, that I can double as an anemone for clownfish. Also what are the kind that branch out. I want some branchey and tall ones. This is very informative. I was watching beginner nano corals but they didnt go into all this! Is it true sps to hard for beginners, someone said that but someone else recommended some?
Plate corals on the bottom, hammers and torches branch out. if you keep stable water beginner sps like montipora are easy to keep
Cant be doubled as an anenome and they are called euphyllia (theres 4 different variants) and they can be very aggressive and have a moderate care level
Your tank looks good but I'm definitely not a bare bottom tank fan!
Guess Who I was the same way til I did B.B. but I now you couldn’t ask me to go back to sand. Although, I would love some wrasses.
I have had the same wrasse for 4 years in BB with no issues
FishOfHex Aquatics I might have to give one or two a try then.
Your tank looks like it has way too much flow for LPS
first lol
Tank looks dreadful, no sand, where does that come from, the sea bed is sand, mostly, tank look more like an alien planet.
