Ed Davey does not know what a genuine woman is, do not expect him to know the difference between right and wrong! Or, come to that, what it means to be an honest upright person who has some honor about them. All involved in persecuting those poor post office sub masters, should go to prison and have removed any money or honors they received. I shed tears for those poor people who were treated like criminals, when they were just plainly innocent and that was easy to see. I am ashamed to see how the real criminals are members of the post office management, and of the government at the time this crime took place, they are getting off scotch free!

No Tory minister did afterwards despite much more evidence being available to them than the perjured nonsense that the PO & Fujitsu were serving up in their prosecutions that Ed Davey had to contend with. And which Tory PM in 2019 gave Vessel her CBE?

For those who say, "If you've done nothing wrong you've got nothing to fear ", this is a salutary lesson. It's why we will always need supra-national courts such as the the European Court of Human Rights to protect the citizens from state owned actors (the Post Office, the Police etc) who behave improperly.
Had the sub-postmasters tried to protest their innocence by holding go slow marches on the capitals streets, THEY'D have been jailed for that too.
