- Reacting strongly to Mallikarjun Kharge's letter to INDIA allies alleging discrepancies in voter turnout data and stating that the credibility of the Election Commission of India is at "an all-time low", the poll panel has accused the Congress president of making baseless allegations to "create confusion, misdirection and impediments in the conduct of free and fair polls".

EC should understand they are answerable to public and they are below the citizen.
This is a democratic country & every one has the right to know if the machines are tempered
But we have heard congress is winning..Is it by tampering the machines?
It is fundamental right of a Voter to know the total no. of Votes casted. From the reply of ECI "bha, bha, bha" and beating around the bush it's clearly evident that ECI is keeping it's head between the legs of ruling party. It's the ECI's weak defences against the questions that makes them under suspecion !!! Moreover their dormant state in the complaints about violation of code of conduct against ruling party leaders makes ECI to be Questioned
It's right on the part of Congress, on behalf of the people to know the delay for such long time to release the voting% of each phase, and the contradictory data figures released each day!!
People should believe that elections are being conducted freely and fairly. The credibility of institution lies how impartially .
So he is accepting that ' Delay ' is there of his own . But why one party is supporting them ?
Why kharge didn't collect data from his own polling agents if he is very concern?

We locally had seen turned out through out day.. let ECI publish percentage booth wise to comare and verify.. they can hardly do it even in todays technical capabilities saying humangus.. sounds unfair otherwise definitely raises doubts. Even non bjp parties asking these questions can not be termed baseless as they can also compare their form17s at their end.
