Splatoon 2 was my introduction to the franchise, so I have a fond place in my heart for Agent 4. This animation was amazing!

I totally agree!She was one of my favorite agents,plus she was the most energetic character!And those characters seem to have a really good charm to them.

This is amazing, seeing your 4's progression and sillyness was great and seeing her go from lonely in the square to having all those friends was such a nice change. Hopefully 4 doesn't get brainwashed or anything. but that'd be ridiculous right?
also the mini stories like 4 getting a cape from 3 or 4 making a new dualie design are amazing

A lot of hardwork put into the animation, especially the background, lots of details, and it was being drawn in a way that it feels like the characters are actually there!
I love that you slips in her casual stuff too, her casual attire, and the whole scene on the class, i like it so much! It's rare to find a splatoon animation that delve on that part of the agent's life as a teenager.
Also the fact that your agent 4 is maybe the cutest agent 4 artstyle i've ever seen🥰. She looks innocent at first but slowly learns as she goes, and she has that cheerful teen personality that i really really love.
I thougt this animation is just about agent 4's adventure on Splatoon 2, but no, agent 3 and 8 is here too.

That was so pretty!! This needs to go viral like RIGHT NOW! I like how you showcased your 4 trying to grow, improve, and differentiate herself (with the new weapon, changed gear, and Three's cape-) and also dealing with failure and having to be comforted there. All that to say, great work!

Tbh Agent 4 is basically the middle child in the squidbeak splatoon
But something in my guts is telling me that Agent 4 mightttt had a chance to at least appear cuz in the Side Orders dlc, you can see there is an agent 4s pallet...idk why but i think Nintendo wanted to add Agent 4 as a boss or a side character in there but decided not to, i think something is pretty interesting is coming
Anyways...this vid gave 4 a fair enough screen time than Nintendo did

Idk why ppl portray 4 as someone who dislikes school or someone who's really energetic and acts on feeling rather than acting on logic. Cuz the reason she doesn't know who marie is was cuz she was studying for school, she's an academic. Not saying it's bad for ppl to portray her like this it's just weird that almost no one does the other one.

Probably because they're young, and students who are very good at school at young ages end up being considered "gifted kids" and have all sorts of problems because of this. Ironically, school is often boring for these kinds of students because the teachers teach based on the pace of the majority, so they end up not feeling challenged by their subjects, and seek to find challenge and purpose on things outside of school. Maybe that's an interpretation of Agent 4 most people relate to.

loved RPG so dang much and this animation does not disappoint! rest assured ill be going through it frame by frame later.

I got teary watching this as Splatoon 2, seeing all the references beautifully drawn and the appreciation for Agent 4 living a normal life yet still being a badass soldier. Still sad about their fate in Side Order, wished they were given more attention and love.

OH MY GOSH THIS WAS SHOCKING PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Everything looked Beautiful and so detailed!!! The Octo Canyon montage was Amazing and fast paced!! And I love all of the peeks of 4s stories after Splatoon 2!! Some are cute and wholesome, while others look very interesting! Ooooooo the ending!! Spectacular Animation!!!!💛
