I just bought this Motorhome based on your first review of this model because of the twin beds! Thank you for that! Appreciate you all! I ordered it from General RV in Huntley (awesome dealership!) and I wasn't expecting it until March. It arrived the beginning of December! I ordered it with side cameras and heated mirrors. I agree with you that this should be standard! Love them! It's winterized here in Chicago in my driveway. I can't wait to get it on the road. I'm still trying to come up with a creative solution to deal with the shower. That curtain isn't going to cut it. I'm determined though! 😂
I absolutely love the twin beds in the back. I would even like this model without the slide out. Actually, I like everything about this RV except the bathroom. But I don't know what the solution would be to do it differently because I wouldn't want it any longer.
Hi friends! First of all Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great holiday season. Thanks for all the feedback; the 25V is a great little floor plan. With the 2024 models not too far off, I'll talk to our designers about the shower curtain setup and tell them it's not Matt Rubber Ducky Approved. (Not a real thing, but it could be). I appreciate all of you watching, and if you're heading to the Tampa show, come over to the Thor display and say hi. Thanks - Steve from TMC
Thor I love the layout of the twin bed models on the Vegas/axis and other Cs but the shower is so small. Fixing this would make it my ideal rv. I think a good idea would be to take out the separate sink, expand the shower, and integrate the sink/faucet into the shower space somehow.
I really like the twin beds that turn into a king, similar to the Winnebago View 24V - but in a Ford e450! And the outside storage is super! However Andrea is absolutely right and that shower deserves much worse than "it is what it is." That shower (with a curtain!) will be a deal breaker for most everyone. It single handedly makes this motorhome a difficult buy at anything above fire sale prices. The shower in the 24V seems much, much better. Hey Thor, redesign the shower for 2024 please! Ahhhhh to the Matt & Will bromance. Approved! Ding!
Hi Matt and Andrea! I love this Thor. Love the twin beds. Love the storage all around the inside. Love you can walk through with slide out in. My dislikes the bathroom curtain water would get all over the floor. No cameras outside. That’s all my dislikes. Thank you Matt and Andrea. And Steve for having a nice Thor class C to show.
Likes: 1. flush counter extension 2. 10000000000000000000000% love the BLINDS 3. outside storage dislikes: 1. Dinette no sofa.. I pref sofa with table than dinette 2. oven turkey denied... pizza approved. 3. should have put a convec oven
Lol another one.. love it when Matt throws these gems around all discreetly in his videos lmao, like I go hard in the mfing paint 😂 reminds me of myself asking customers if they wanted khaki with a cuff n a crease when I worked at macys back in the day.
Thanks again Matt and Andrea! Okay, I have to say that this is my new favorite Class C. Totally agree with Andrea that the storage is phenomenal. I love that you can access the rear pass through from different doors. Crazy that you have so many bed options in such a small motorhome (yes, Matt, the space between does NOT make it weird, but you spooning Will? Weird! ) You didn't point it out, but it looked like there was a small skylight or vent over the cab bunk...that is totally cool and would make it alot less claustrophobic! Love that they didn't skimp on the kitchen and make the fridge smaller, and it had an oven?! Things I dislike: they absolutely could add a foot or two to the overall length and improve the sad bathroom. I know it is what it is, but that shower is not really usable and might as well have a wet bath. I also think they could have made a sofa with pedestal table option. But the dinette is pretty much a must if you are sleeping more than two in this motorhome. And, didn't see where the tv goes unless the one from the cab bunk swivels out for the main cabin. Overall, though, this motorhome has the best layout so far for its size and price.
LOVE the twin beds, love the storage, love the CCC. The shower is way too small; at least put one of those bendy shower curtain rods on it to hold the top of the curtain away from you! (And make the front of the pan taller so the curtain stays IN the shower!). Not a fan of those valances. They're kind of ugly. I'd rather see plain fabric with no pattern. The bathroom in general isn't great, but I could make it work. But overall, I like this one and two years ago I would have been trying hard to make it fit in my budget, mostly because of the twin beds, the CCC, and the storage.
My opinion on the bathroom is that the toilet and sink should be switched. That toilet is right up against the wall. Even better would be a fold up sink IN the shower, which would be rectangular along the outside wall. Toilet where the sink is. It’s pretty terrible the way it is.
I know if Will and Matt went to the movies together......they would have the mandatory "we are only friends" one seat space cushion between them....that way it wouldn't be "weird"......."not that there is anything wrong with that"......haha
@@ImUniqueBella In Europe Matt offered to take his shoes off just to enter an RV😮At home he lays on everything whether it has plastic on it or not. It’s just a matter of courtesy👍
Great warranty. Rolls Royce used to come pick up your car and drop off a Bentley loaner until yours was fixed. What's Thor gonna drop off while this one is in the shop for ten weeks?
Not bad overall, and it does have that HUGE rear storage….. I’m surprised that Thor didn’t make this rig with their signature split bathroom with a huge shower on one side and the toilet and sink on the other… Or just make it a wet bath because as it’s configured you’ll flood the bathroom anyway….
So we start off 👍🏽3635 ccc; boondock friendly 👍🏽 tons of walk space and storage w/slide in; chassis features 👍🏽 800 lb OHB, Godzilla on a unit this small won’t notice a hill; HNY bonus 👍🏽 kitchen kudos (counter, fridge, oven, storage); double HNY bonus 👍🏽 passenger seat reclines .:. Cockpit is basic 👎🏽 we’d option power mirrors and side cam’s for safety; the bathroom 👎🏽👎🏽 was the sacrifice (angle the toilet it may help - maybe a combo sink shower bcz separate neither one works - maybe put the sink on the swing door) .:. 6000 lb towing capacity GC/GV but we are pretty much just fuel, driver and passenger (literally almost nothing else on board) towing 8000 (vehicle ~ load, kbyt) .:. Twin beds have advantages!! It’s not a 👍🏽👎🏽 it’s what each owner needs .:. The price (discounted nicely) of the trash can is: $102,995 / 8625 lbs (empty weight estimate) x 2.5 lbs (it’s a small one) = $29.85 boutique kitchen supply sale price and bit higher than expected tbh .:. HNY everybody .:. Thanks for the review M/A
I would like to see Rv's that are Diesel. This includes, 12v diesel Heaters, diesel hot water, 12v compressor fridge, 12v A/C, An electrical system that supports an electric toilet. Lithium-Iron phosphate Batteries. Full Canadian winter package, 20 degrees below zero Insulation Package. Well Dream team, give it a shot.
Are you able to swivel the driver and passenger seats? If not could they be changed over to swivel? We really like the layout and the twin beds is exactly what we are looking for.
Question: do you actually have to hold those outside storage doors open? Is there no way to brace them open while you’re moving stuff in and out? Also, is there storage under the twin beds? Is there a TV hookup in the bedroom? It’s hard to tell-I’m guessing since you didn’t show it there’s no work station for the passenger in the cockpit? Dislike: that bathroom is a deal-killer. I get it’s a tiny RV, but I’d happily sacrifice the size of the dinette to make that bathroom better. Also agree about no side cameras. And I HATE the TV placement in the living area. I don’t even see how someone using the bunk benefits when the TV is there-it’s not really in a position that makes for comfortable watching. Horrible, and no place to sit but the dinette, which is why I was wondering if there’s a TV hookup in the bedroom. If so, you could put in pillows to make that your living room and watch TV in comfort until bedtime. Like: I agree about the twin beds. That’s just more useful overall. A solo traveler could turn one of them into a chaise or sofa and use the other for sleeping. Couples who really want a king can have one, and as Matt said, if you’re traveling with a friend who doesn’t have benefits, it’s still a little uncomfortable to share a bedroom, but at least you’re not sharing a bed. Those bunk over cabs are an option, but really not that comfortable. I also like all the storage outside and inside. That’s useful. With a few tweaks, mostly to improve the bathroom, this could be one of the best small RV’s I’ve seen.
You're acting like (with respect to Wil) that you're sleeping in a 24.1! But this is a Class C ... make Wil sleep above the cab! We actually converted our twin beds into a permanent 96"x75" with 2 massive front facing drawers. $100k for this is good in today's market. QUESTION: The 24.1 is about a foot shorter. Where does the 25V gain the room?
100% the sink is, in my opinion as well, not necessary. You would get a bigger shower. Then you can take the stool and turn it just a little bit sideways for more elbow room.
Like it would have been better to make a sliding pocket door, and turn the bathroom into a huge wetbath with the toilet in the corner and the shower spraying toward the corner. You could have a better and bigger sink and the overall bathroom would be better.
Everything correctly and you guys saying about this life but in there like I don't like with no Justin mirrors and you know I ain't going to reach out there Justin when I'm going down the road or trying to have somebody just that when I'm going down the road or just it when park somewhere I like having just full mirrors thank you
Don’t like: no side cameras, manuel morro controls, no solar panels included. Didn’t see tv connections in the bedroom. The bedroom could have had a back window. Shower sucked.
Its 2023, when are RV manufacturers going to stop putting only USB-A outlets in? They need to include USB-C outlets...especially with next iPhone generation switching from lightning cable to USB-C in Fall of 2023.
Thor is such a crappy builder...look at how bad this roof is. Every single Thor product INCLUDING Airstream is crap..Airestream is DEFINITELY not what it used to be since Thor purchased them which is sad.
Nope. . Likes: awning, light colored cabinets, storage drawers under dinette seating and ccc. Home zoning codes often call for over 30" width for the toilet space. Most RVs give you less space than Spirit Airlines.
Again make the entire bath area a wet bath (make it an option). Gives way more showering area. Put a u dinette in that slide out!
Love the twin beds. Hate the bathroom.
