- On this episode an event 4 months in the making. We work on our 1951 Allis Chalmers WD to get it to fire up for the first time since we bought it. Hopefully to take it to the 2021 Orange Spectacular.

I wanted to see how high the can on the muffler would fly when it started :) Love the previous owner's "customizing"
I have a WD that has been sitting since around 1994 too. My grandpa bought it new and lived in Buda, IL, where the Buda Engine Company was founded. I may have to try to get it started now. Thank you for the inspiration.
Push in the foot clutch ,so your not causing the extra drag .
Nice runs good. I have a WD-45 .It hasn't run in 5 years.🚜
I remembered when I was a kid cultivating corn with one of those with metal hoppers great video
Oooooh just loving those old allis chalmers
I had it figured from minute one, why it didn't want to start. It's COLD out! Same reason I usually don't want to start either. LoL!
Another good one. I have that very same tractor and year. Please record more as you go along getting her ready for the show. Thank you J and L
Way to stick with it!
Got it running before the Orange Spectacular!👍🍻
Just subscribed because I like your videos but also because you sound Canadian and I support my heritage Canadian decent right here A
Thank you, hope you enjoy! We're not Canadian but I guess minnesota is pretty close
@@JandLVideos your welcome i definitely will enjoy I’m a tractor addict does sound close to Canadian
Now, have you got the cultivator that goes with yhose front brackets? We had a two-row and a four-row. Never saw the four-row in use.
Yep I got a two row and a four row, hoping to put the four row on it for show
The four-row makes the steering very stiff but looks cool!
Would you wanna buy a WD 45 Alice runs and drives factory white front I’m in Utica Minnesota it is for sale I’m only asking 1300 for it
While I'd love to have a wd45 I have another project I'm working on right now that most of my funds seem to be going towards but thanks anyway
@@JandLVideos I have a Alice Chalmer C It’s just collecting dust in the shed and I don’t have a use for it I don’t know if you’d be interested in that one either
I wouldn't mind having that either, but I'm maxed out on projects for the moment
@@JandLVideos I got yours understandable do you ever get a chance to come up to Minnesota to the Utica area give me a holler like to meet you seem like a chill dude I do have a WC fully restored you would like probably like to see that one that one’s a 1936 unstyled from the Great Depression
