Carl Gustav Boberg (16 August 1859 - 7 January 1940, aged 80) was a Swedish poet and elected official, best known for writing the Swedish language poem "O Store Gud" (O Great God) from which the English language hymn "How Great Thou Art" is derived.
I've never heard this one from her. Just imagine how deep her voice is going to be in her late 20s or 30s considering she's only a teenager now.
This was a 12 year old singing this, and this is the second time he reacted to this. Done on his other channel long time ago and is a repeat, re-upload.
True! She ends each phrase on a D3. In the same key that Elvis sang it!
Unearthly beautiful. I heard that was in the same key as Elvis. This is an old Swedish hymn
Angel singing !!!
Tennessee Ernie Ford also sang this old hymm.
Yeah its in every hymnal I've ever picked up singing in church
Awesome reaction and another song she does in a lower register is "I Feel So Young", God Bless!
One of my favorites. They all are.
Beautiful
The next one will allways be my favorite song from Angelina.
seeing MrLBoyd pleasantly surprise is a rare treat :)
the way she extends some words and links them to the next line is amazing.
This song was written in 1885 and has been covered by most all people in Music. Especially Country and western. Elvis did do it plus so many many many more, Carrie Underwood also sang it. Dolly Paton and the list is long.
It's probably one of the most popular hymns ever written...
There should be a way of moving videos between two channels (both owned by you) without reposting them, so that the videos keep their upload date, comments, and views. Please look into this.
Yes this is the 2nd time you have done this song and she did do it in the same key as Elvis and no one noes who did the original back in 1885. Her guitarist is Ivan Mendez.

This is not an Elvis song. It's a hundred or more year old hymn.....Sung my entire life. Also, was my Grandmother's favorite of all time. When she was passing, I played the Carrie Underwood version all day , every day in her room. She had dementia, but it made her smile instead of cry. It comforted her. Now it makes me cry.
This is an old hymn that Elvis covered. It's been sung by many people, as it is a standard. It's been around since I was a kid (and I'm almost 70). I've sung it at funerals, and at church.
You need to check out one of her own songs, called Oslo, she wrote it and sang it at 11 years old Awesome 👍. You will love it.
I really like the older Christian music . Thx
how could you have not heard this song, it is an American church standard, just about as famous a hymn as there is
This is a hymn of the Church, probably Public Domain, but yes, Elvis sang this as well. Of course, Angelina slowed it way down for her version, but I think the chorus sounds the most like Elvis’s version.
Nice reaction Mr B 👍. Angie was 12 here singing her version based on the Elvis cover and the original which is a Christian hymn based on a Swedish Christian hymn from 1885. She hit a B2 and C3. It is a song they also sang in her church in Norway when she lived there. Ivan Mendez was Playing guitar to her right. Angie can get lower with a faster tempo. React to her cover of Frank Sinatra's song 🎵 "You make me feel so young". She did her hair and clothes in the era of the song 🎵. 🙂👍❤🙏
Confused - isn't this the same reaction that you previously posted on your "MrLboyd Reacts" channel (744k subs)?
That note at 5:10 is really in the bottom of the basement. I'm a 58 year old guy. Even if I had decent singing skills, I don't know if I could hit that note.
dude you already reacted to this song by Angelina
He's started a new channel, and moved over some favorites, his old channel is no longer any music.
@@ryanjacob3338 He still should mention that this is a reupload!
@@HS-ol4zl I suppose he should somewhere in the descriptions, or make a new thumbnail saying so yes. A bit underhanded for extra views, but hard to avoid and no real harm done. He did post that this would be happening bear in mind.
This was Elvis's version of How Great Thou Art.....
