I've often found Minaj's style to be a bit corny and her attitude quite childish. Her consistent dissing of Lil' Kim, a female rap OG, someone who paved the way for her and she stole so much from, someone that she owes her career to cos she wouldn't exist without that historical trajectory, is puerile and disrespectful - since she built a career standing on her shoulders. At this point she is just embarrassing herself tbh but she probably thinking that path to attention is worth it. If you truly believe in your own skills you don't have to behave like this. I don't think that Minaj will ever be cool again after this.

What I’m disappointed in the most from Miss Minaj is the hypocrisy and the internalised misogyny. I grew up with Nicki and it’s straight up disappointing! I hate the fact that Nicki brought up that Megan never cried during an interview and implies that this MUST mean she’s lying - there is not one correct way to process trauma and feelings, they’re incredibly complicated and as someone who has unfortunately experienced SA I’m at a point where I haven’t cried over it in a long time - does this mean I’m lying?! TF was Nicki thinking?! There’s so many potholes in Nicki’s logic behind these bars but the whole thing is whack!!!
She literally faked cries during the interview and that’s not the only support she’s used to explain why she thinks Megan lied. She’s also shown examples of Megan contradicting her own story like playing the audio of her saying she got shot in both feet even though she later several times said it was one.
