The Roadster has been a pain in my back since making it a bobber. This video you hang out with me in the garage while I convert her back to a cafe racer.
Killer bike! I got a 2013 spirtster 72 that i turned into a cafe racer. I changed the front end to a wide glide front end. Got rid of the 21" wheel of front and replaced it with a 16" wheel. Threw a pair of Burly clubman bars and a drag specialties cafe seat
To be honest, I never thought it looked like a 'bobber' to begin with . . . just a slightly modded Roadster. Anyways, glad to see that good sense prevailed and you decided to preserve your back for old age . . . although that's somewhat qualified given those bars and relatively stiff suspension of the Roadster. I gotta say, though, I've always liked the Roadster.
IMO Harley needs to do more to get us ex-Saki Rocket pilots. The Roadster, IMO was one of the coolest Harleys ever built. Would love to see an XR750 Roadster blend with that new 100+ H/P motor, better suspension and handling but maybe we are a just a small niche market, at any rate love the HD story but there is absolutely nothing in the HD showroom that makes me want to own one at this time and certainly nothing at the top of their price list 30 to 40K. I guess they will just have to bury me on a Japanese bike
Definitely fun to watch you ripp around on ur café
Much better! Like the cafe look.

Looks better as a cafe 👍🏾
Cafe looks great, but would love to build BOTH.
bobber seat would not be odd if you replaced the clipons with some classy handlebars. was a half bobber half cafe. looks great now as cafe!
Well done. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Hey bud what handlebars did you install on your Sportster. I like them I want to install it on my bike.
Those are the Harley-Davison clip on bars for the roadster. They are discontinued now.
