- This is what I hope will be the start of a series explaining the how all the main characters came to know each other. This video took 15 months to make, as school takes up a lot of my time.

I haven't the words enough to voice my disdain for people who would do this to a poor animal in real life. Even in animation it saddens me how it is portrayed that humans would abandon something. Animals are a lifelong commitment, if you won't dedicate the same time to an animal that you would a child then they shouldn't get them. Most people do it on impulse during the holidays. Thanks for sharing this message. I hope it makes people think before they do this type of thing.❤

Exactly! I can see that she took some inspiration from some Disney movies, but she did it so well that it's her own work! She kept the right amount of sadness and happiness so you don't sink down into a bad feeling. And yet at the same time, you really *FEEL* that character growth yanno?

It's kinda emotional for me to see Grace in animation again. Not just because of the tone of the video, but because back in the day she was a character that showed Ava g's original channel, and it was one of the biggest inspirations for me to start drawing again. These characters and animations will forever be close to my heart. And it's really great to see them again!

If you are to continue this series I'd reccomend going on a low frame rate and taking full advantage of smear frames- the animation will look different but you'd save a lot of time. Another thing could be reusing certain animations or going with a pmv style from time to time. However you choose to do it I look forward to seeing more from you!

This was so delightful to watch, it's animated so well, every single expressive emotion and movement of the cat was such fun to watch, and the story although honestly heartbreaking was really compelling. You are super talented, I loved to watch this so much!
absolutely everything about this, to the program it was animated on, the art style, the shading, thick lines, and the fact that it was put together using imovie was the hugest slap in the face of nostalgia ive felt in a very long time (in the best way possible). i'm so glad this came up in my recommendations.

I love the expressions and the animation is so smooth! I like that you can express everything through facial expressions and body language and tell a story that way.I do that sometimes too but i love my dialogue too much so i don't do that very often.I also write things right now more than draw so, i guess that makes sense.Discovered this by accident but i love it.I'm interested in the story.I hate when people leave their animals behind like that.I feel too bad.Excited for the next episode.

When you click on a vid u honestly (and wrongly) didn’t expect much emotion from and then get hit in the face with humor then worry then sadness then a urge to take vengeance for a fictional cat. I’m deeply invested in this cats story now great job with the animation too!

Wow, this animation is absolutely beautiful! Also, I feel so bad for Grace. As someone who has two cats, I could never imagine abandoning them. Something I agree with my mom is that "We chose to bring them in, they didn't choose us". That means it's our responsibility to take care of them, no matter how much they may be at times. And if for some reason you can no long take care of a pet, it becomes your responsibility to find them a new home where they will be happy and healthy.
Man this is like a hd video game how it looks just so... completely remade but true to the original style so as not to spoil a good thing but neverthless somehow revamp for viewing on a larger or even just newer display/device the gradients and smoothing really stand out from what I remember bacj in highschool watching this a few years a ago legit you know? :D
After/edit or sidenote: 13:49 man that is deep... thats real no joke got multiple layers and all as well with multiple types of meaning to it in my opinion so that is quite interesting for really a good result all the way through.

I absolutely loved that transition at the end with grace's fur blowing in the wind as she looked toward the city and the music matched the scene so perfect it was just so beautiful and inspiring and your animations are what have inspired me to want to start animating again

and the fact that this was made by my childhood idol makes it more nostalgic and sad
the animation is very expressive. i came here from the pip's story and the author does a very good job in depicting emothions. I'm really amased by the details, even very well skilled artists sometimes lack expressions. even though the style looks "old" and not as beautiful as some other popular furry artists, the quality of animation is really amazing. i believe it was made in flipaclip, which is impressive as well. it looks like a very hard work, and the style gives me flashbacks from the 2000 furry comunity omg) my heart melted:) these emo designs... i kinda miss these times. the choice of music needs some improvement though
