  • Say hello to the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450!
Royal Enfield has launched the Guerrilla 450 at a starting price of ₹ ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It uses a heavily reworked version of the Himalayan 450 frame with new suspension and steering geometry and uses the same Sherpa 450 engine as the ADV but with a different final drive and tune for the ride-by-wire system.
With this motorcycle, Royal Enfield hopes to cater to a whole new audience once that wants something sporty, and youthful but at the same time has a strong tie to the company’s heritage. It will also rival the likes of the Triumph Speed 400 and other sub-500cc roadsters and naked bikes.

Would you pick the Guerrilla 450 which is priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom) over the Triumph Speed 400?

This is India’s version of Ducati Scrambler with 1/2 the displacement and 1 less cylinder ☺️☺️
Lower height, smaller wheels & different sprocket.
    Smartly done RE 👍🏽👍🏽

After 27 july please consider these questions to explain
    1. Is 11L fuel tank enough wrt its mileage?
    2. Thoughts on Telescopic Fork?
    3. Thoughts on Monoshock suspension?
    4. Was there any vibration problem while riding?
    5. This one I want to know the most
Should I buy it now or should I wait for a certain thing to be upgraded by the R&D team next year?
    Please cover all these questions

This being a roadster, I expected them to go for a bigger rear sprocket. But I'm surprised they went smaller. Also this being lighter than the Himalayan, might have quite a higher top speed. But then I'm only guessing.

The smaller rear sprocket has been used to make for better mid-range and top-end performance. Stay tuned for our first ride review to know exactly how it feels

Can we expect to see a Meteor 450 with the same engine??

Royal Enfield is known to use an engine in multiple platforms. But considering the style of the motorcycle it’s unlikely that we will see the high performance Sherpa engine in a cruiser format.

These automotive reviewers don't have the guts to say things like,
    RE reused Himalayan 450 parts.
Himalayan 450 had an engine, chassis, tripper nav, suspension issues even if they were minor but they had it which needs to be rectified first.
    And majorly what's new????
I'm getting the same chassis, same engine, same "exhaust note", same suspension setup at the rear wheel.
The only thing new is 17 inches front and handlebar with 11ltr tank.
Also, seriously who's approving those colours on bikes? Looks really really aftermarket. And named as Guerrilla!! Seriously? They can do better.
At this price Triumph 400x and 400 makes lots of sense in terms of 'Everything'.
BTW I own Himalayan 411 2024. A RE fanboy but I can't avoid the truth.
