What is a concert? A miserable little pile of talented artists and instruments.
I love that when the guitar solo starts they zoom in on a bunch of people not even playing.

jajaja, the orchestra Wass good, but I saw the whole concert here, they needed another guitar player that could give emotion to solos and melodies, this guitar player might be good for other genres, but the aggression the rock and metal side for this type of Videogame he doesn't have it

They went with the Super Castlevania IV arrangement, with a dash of Rondo of Blood thrown in! Nice.
I am so glad they kept the pace up on this one. It's very easy for string orchestras in a live performances to drag the pace of a song, but this one keeps the much-needed energy. Well done to all involved, wherever they are now!

I wonder if the original composers thought their 8 or 16 bit music gonna travel through the ages and evolve into this...
The original composer for Symphony of the Night actually performed on the harpsichord for Wandering Ghosts (Colosseum) during this concert. She looked quite happy.
The guitar solo was my favorite part out of this concert.
30 years later, and this song still is fantastic.. one of the greatest sound tracks ever written.
I do wonder what goes through the minds of these classically trained performers when they are asked to play a piece from a video game. They must think "you want us to play WHAT now?!" And then a few seconds in to "this is awesome!!!!"
Bloody Tears sounds very classical.
Though at this point its most likely mostly the older ones that might still have that sort of viewpoint on it. In this case at least many of them seem young enough to likely see it differently and at least some of them might even have already been familiar with it.

Whenever I see a setting like this with an orchestra but also drums, electric guitar and bass guitar, I wonder how many in the orchestra are thinking "yeah this is nice" and how many are thinking: "WHAT IS THIS IRRESPECTABLE SITUATION I HAVE FOUND MYSELF IN".
They knew what they were getting into lol, especially when they saw Dracula's coffin
The strings are too quiet/overwhelmed. Otherwise, this is great.

loved this version, the climatic leveling of volume reminds me of the bloodytears version from CV 4, but any real Castlevania fan knows that it came originally on epic Simon's Quest CV2
+DRAGOTH BELMONT Only thing epic in Simon's Quest is music. Game is unfinished piece of crap which should not seen daylight nor moonlight.

Wow.. everything they did with the song is great.. and I love how they seemed to highlight the best entry to the many remakes with giving tribute to the sounds of Super Castlevania 4..and actually just solidifies to me the best take on this song is and forever will be the Super Castlevania 4 version

This video is incomplete. I was there during the entire show. After this piece the whole orchesta turn into the people and show their fangs and claws to then start killing everyone in the public. Everyone started screaming and running but the exits were closed. I was granted pardon because my great grandma was one of the cello players there.

Agreed along with an adjustment of the EQ so that there is less bass and more treble. Maybe a more capable lead player as well.
