Great job to all the tradesman, It brought lots of memories, goi ng back 55 years we used the same system to build a concrete structure, now days we are more safety oriented which is a good thing, but the young generation would never work as hard now.

Just the necessary re-bar to make it strong and to resist tornado, hurricane and fire. None of these could bring this home down. They are far better than the trashy US homes. In US entire homes are complete flat on the ground even before hurricanes, tornadoes and wild fire hit the property. Everything is build out of wood and sheet rook. What a piece of trash are homes in US. And the worse part is that after the disaster, the same trashy house is rebuild again with the same materials. They don't learn, there is not understanding at all. Instead, these concrete-brick houses last forever. Beside that, not termites, mold, humidity and all the other thousand of things that attack US homes. Concrete last forever my friend.

a septic tank walled up in the foundation?! What happens if the tank is clogged or overfilled?
I know,I don't like to criticise hard work,I just think a lot of wasted effort for low quality construction,it's like they're making it up as they go along,the foundations look solid enough,but what a waste of concrete and rebar unless you're building a bomb-shelter

'это они просто мелкие) Но потолок надо от 3м. Это сейчас для простого люда начали строить 2,5м а элитное жилье часто 3,5-4,5м потолок. Я про многоэтажки говорю. Да и в сталинках раньше 3,2м были и выше. Сам я жил с 3,2м потом переехал в 2,5м и очень плохо было мне с таким низким потолков, дышится хуже и кажется помещение мелким. В итоге переехал в новый дом 3м.
Сам если буду строить дом тоже от 3,5м потолок делать буду.

I feel sorry for the person who carried the bricks up to the upper floor only to see a winch installed after in order to lift the mixer, sand, and other materials.

The Walls seem over-reinforced, unless the Bearing Capacity of the Soil underneath is really low...just saying...if you are on unstable clay , it can make sense...although a reinforced slab achieves the same goal and takes less space..the idea is to use less cement and still, if at all possible.

To my untrained ignorant eyes this looks like a solid structure. Would any engineers in the audience give me their opinions on it? Is it safe? Will it withstand the test of time? Was there a balance between budget and not sacrificing quality materials? How would you rate various aspects that you feel are important?
It not safe but good enough for 50 years. This house was build in a small town in a development country so most people cant afford high end house building technology, furthermore such technology doesn't available there

Mich wundert es nicht mehr, das bei euch die Wände zusammen fallen.
This will last hundreds of years with NO wood rot, fire, wind or insect damage! All with almost ZERO maintenance. I would sleep better than I EVER have in it!... Only thing, I would have made a basement level and a septic tank with access and a vent. THAT will need maintenance sooner or later LOL. Other than these 2 small things, THIS is my DREAM home! 1000x better than the JUNK American homes here built from toothpicks stuck together with nails and covered up to make it pretty for hundreds of thousands of dollars...

Fantastique construction,des millions de briques a poser, de la ferrailage par centaine de mètres, une étanchéité des terrasses ,impeccables il n'y aura aucune fuite possible en provenance des terrasses ,l'électricien a suivi la construction en posant ses cables sous gaines , alors là , j'en viens à la toiture tout en tubes galvanisés même les tubes sur la structure du toit soudées ,la soudure protègées d'une peinture anti rouille ça ne bougera pas d'un pouce pour des siècles , n'en parlons pas de la pose des tuiles posées avec du mastic anti fuite ,mais c'est la perfection en seulement 70 jours ? vous vous rendez compte ? je serai curieux de connaitre le prix de cette maison ? le salaire des ouvrières ? des ouvriers ,je sais que je n'aurais aucune réponse à ce sujet . j'espère seulement qu'ils ont eu droit à une fête pour l'inauguration de cette bâtisse . merci pour cette belle video.

bagus sih terlihat kuat, tapi menurut saya sebagai orang indonesia buat rumah dengan pondasi begitu banyak itu sangat boros kurang evisien, itu kalau di indonesia hanya rumah berlantai dua cukup menggunan besi cor cakar ayam.

I was a mason tender for 16 years. So much wrong here, let’s start with the footer that had 2x6 plank used. They just put some concrete in the form and push it around. Not level, the masons would be screaming if the mortar was in a pile on the floor and the bricks n the floor. No mortar boards. Let’s use scrap everything.

동남아 집들은 단순히 비바람을 피할 수 있는 용도 그 이상도 그 이하도 아닌 것 같네요.
