The judges called it right off the bat! Thank you very much for your heartfelt reaction, now you perfectly understand why so many many people love her to bits and back. Never thought a female singer could grab my heart like Ella, buut .. here we are. These four performances took place over a span of 6 months, and didn’t she fine tune her instrument! I’d recommend you find her a capella performance in full, for some reason the most impressive part is missing in this compilation, a travesty imo. I’m really looking forward to see where you go next, loving this!

She loves to be on stage. A seven-eight year old owning and commanding the stage and has the audience and judges in the palm of her hand. Smiles at the end capturing hearts! The elegance continues to shine through so mature beyond her age! What a young lady! From what I’ve heard about Bang Bang, the judges saw her talking with the guitarist and telling him exactly how she wanted it played-Angelina in Boss mode at 8-that is when they knew she was for real! She won the finals with 46% of the vote of the 10 finalist let that sink in! 🇳🇴🇺🇸

It's such a joy when someone reacts to all four of Angelina's extraordinary performances on NGT. Yes, Norway's got talent, Angelina is proof of that since she's the most talented singer I've ever heard.
Nick, thanks for your reaction. There is video of Angelina working with the musicians, practicing for her performance of "Summertime". The musicians lovingly called her "the boss" as she knew how she wanted to sing the song and made instinctively awesome choices. I have been learning about Angelina for 4 years now and feel like I barely know the scope of her talents.

Thank you for another appreciative reaction. It's true - even when you're expecting great things, she still surprises you. She also sang I'm a Fool to Want You at age 11. There is a video of her in the studio recording it, and the progress she has made in four years is astounding! I've been listening to her for about 4 years now and I am still overcome at times by the sheer tonal quality of her voice. There are no words for it. I can't wait to see more of your journey through Angelinaland.

All song selections and vocal arrangements - even at 7/8 years old were made by Angelina.
It is I think difficult to find words for the greatness of Angelina's early performances: I agree "mature" isn't quite right (except for her character which has always been very mature).... the fact that she was so young adds to how amazing it seems, to our admiration... yet one wants words that acknowledge that youth but indicate that the singing, the musicality, is great in and of itself, regardless of age....
She won that talent show with 46% of the votes. And there were adults as contestants as well.

It doesn't really matter in what order you follow Angelina's journey. Just like any good road atlas, there are many ways to get from point A to point B. Just know that, no matter what route you take on your Angelina journey, you will be pleased and delighted at every stop on the way (and maybe you will discover some new surprise around the next bend!)

I've followed her on off for 10 yrs, she's deffo something special. 1 of few in a million of a whole generation of singers, with such a talent, and then being able to cultivate it.
Thank heavens for the cultural programmes and her parents/grandparents supporting her, not to become a star, but to first and formost be a kid. Looking forward to your next reactions on AJ.

AJ has said that when she sings she goes into the "zone", a wonderful happy place. She listens to music all the time and never gets nerves when she sings. She liked Jazz the most because it is so different.
When you said she inhabits the stage, it made me think of the times I’ve said she inhabits genres. She sings beautifully in five or six genres effortlessly. But her ability to inhabit those genres gives her singing authenticity even though Angelina is going to give you a version you e never heard before.
AJ is just so amazing. She is one of the few who are blessed by the music gods
She made those song choices and arrangements herself! By the way, no one pushed her, she wanted to sing on Norway’s Got Talent, from the time she was 4 or 5 but her mother wouldn’t let her audition until she was ready, so she worked very hard to get ready and her mother had to give in, she had no more excuses to stop her from what she wanted to do!
She wasn’t old enough to audition. You had to be at least 7. But you’re right she was hounding her mother from early on. At 3 she was hounding her to let her sing for Simon (AGT).

If you check the interviews that her mother gave, she says that she would not let Angelina audition, no matter how old she way, if she wasn’t ready, and Angelina worked very hard, especially when she was 6, to get ready, and if you watch her videos you will see the progression before she auditioned.

That point is moot, considering that her mother would not let her audition regardless of her age if she wasn’t ready! And the truth is always better than fiction, her mother let her audition at 7 singing “Gloomy Sunday”, the suicide song, that is incredible all on its own!

Two thumbs up! I would recommend both the 10yo and 16 yo performance’s of ,‘My funny valentine.’ That gives you a look into what she can do in a 6 year span with the same song. I believe many fans prefer her 10 year old version. You won’t be sorry. Be sure and do 10yo one when she is setting on a chair
Steven, both are equally good, but I prefer her version at 16. I love the 10yo version for its sweetness, sincerity and pureness of spirit, but man, her vocals at 16 are phenomenal. I have to listen without watching, because her beauty is distracting to the performance.
That is an excellent suggestion, and one that I have made several times myself. To get the maximum out of it, they should probably be reacted to in the same reaction I think 🙂
@@bills5268 I agree, the 10 yo version is great, with the cuteness factor off the charts, but the 16 yo version is a full blown Masterpiece that is the best version of that song that I've ever heard by anybody, EVER, in the 50 years I've loved that song.

She almost makes me believe in reincarnation. The soul she puts into her music is so much deeper than her age. She does a cute studio video at 6 of I Who Have Nothing- filmed kinda wobbly her Gram- use CC and listen til the end. Also her cover of Someone like Me ( Adele) is one of my favorites.
You will be doing yourself a favor to watch the longer versions of the separate videos. There’s introductory information and judges comments that are informative and amusing. You get a little better feel for this beautiful little mussy haired rag a muffin . You probably don’t think it’s possible, but it makes her even more adorable.

...watch out which version you take: From "I'm a fool to want you" which in Norske Talenter AJ sings a capella there is a shorter version because there are 54 seconds cut out. And these 54 seconds are so good - even with speaking in - but the good thing of this version is, that you can't hear that there is something missing: AJ hit exactly the notes even after nearly a minute...

If I say that this is fantastic it would be underestimate her talent, her musical and vocal abilities…

Don’t watch her mini documentary “10 Years in the Making” if you want to see a progression of young to old. It is wonderful but contains a lot of clips from her latest concerts.
Major miss: This clip has English subtitles for the Norwegian dialog. You are missing a LOT!
There may be some versions of this video on CZcams that have no subtitles, but every singe on that I have seen DOES have them. Personally I don't care, I am Icelandic and I understand regular Norwegian...
