- Jaystation is the infamous CZcamsr best known for his series of "3AM challenges'. He sought to create controversies for attention and demonstrated time and time again there was very little he wasn't willing to do in order to achieve it. At the height of his notoriety, he was contacting deceased celebrities with a ouija board, often just a few short hours after their passing. In February 2020 he found himself in hot water once again, when he faked his then girlfriend's death. A stunt that would ultimately lead to his channel's termination. But this is just the tip of the iceberg and there's a great deal more to the story. Until now, nobody, not even CZcams themselves, have been made aware of all the sick and evil things Jaystation has been doing for the last six years. However, for the last eighteen months, CZcamsrs Colossal is Crazy and Nerd City have been working on a multi-part series, to document it all. This descent into madness will show that not only is Jaystation TRULY the worst CZcamsr of all time, but that despite his repeated terminations, he has corrupted the platform to a point in which it may never recover.

The first time they cut to Jaystation complaining about unoriginality, I literally thought it was Nerd City dressed up like Jaystation for a joke. The second time, I started to think it might be a deepfake, which would be a great idea for one of these videos, by the way. I just couldn't process that this guy was actually that far gone.

This channel is such an enigma to me. It basically drops out the sky doing extremely high production value youtube videos for about a year or so, drops off the face of the earth for over 2 years and is suddenly back again, all while never uploading an explanation video. It's kind of beautiful really.

As an adult, I found it disturbing to watch some of these videos of his. Children should absolutely not be able to access this without parental approval. Children are not capable of understanding what’s real and what’s fake. This man should be in prison for taking advantage of children in such way. While at the same time CZcams allowed all of this. It says something very clear about the platform.

I dont want to say kids are getting dumber, but I still remember being in 3rd grade and my friend showing me a ghost video on CZcams. Compared to Jaystation it may as well of been a Kubrick film. A few things get knocked off a shelf and a door slams. Even then my initial reaction was, "Thats fake."
Honestly, everything makes me angry anyways, but Jesus Christ, abuse really sets me off. Especially when CZcamsrs abuse things like reptiles, rats and mice. Like, those animals have very little sympathy as it is amongst the general population. With a young audience treating him like a cult leader, it really makes me worry for any animals safety
You really have to wonder if this is going to inspire a new generation of serial killers - the type of kids that grew up thinking that cutting into bad "evil" things is good. Millions of kids, at the very least, have memories of vivisections burned into their minds during their formative years; with many probably having fond memories of the night they dissected their elmo doll when it was alive... This shit is absolutely sick; as bad as daddyOfFive was, it was mainly loved by adults who can and should know better, not kids who will form their world view around it

Yeah, parents should be extra careful of what their kid is doing online, what content they watch etc. When I get my own kids no smartphones until 18, for real. It's easy to just give a kid a phone, but in my view it's neglecting parenting to do that.
It baffles me that parents will go out of their way to block violent network tv approved content (which by definition is pretty tame since it has to go on and be watched by an immense audience) and then leave their children free to watch this shit. Jay's videos are grotesque and crude in the worst way possible, because they're not even gruesome in a compelling way, like a horror movie could be, they're just the product of the mind of a really uncoltured, unitelligent cloudchaser whose only success is due to the shock value of his video when shown to impressionable viewers.

You should probably have mentioned but that hamster he dyed blue definitely would have died from that fall. Hamsters are very sensitive, they can even die of fright. If whatever blue chemicals he dipped it in didn't kill it, that fall absolutely did.

Not if the parents actually do their job teaching them morals and chastising stupid behavior. A student can only be as good as their teacher is. If a single student fails, it's on the student, but if the majority of students fail, it's on the teacher. Let's be honest, kids are dumb, and we all were once those dumb kids, but that's normal. It's on the parents/guardians to help guide them in the right direction.

Luckily I’d seen this video and knew exactly what he was talking about. Luckily there is an abundance of this content on CZcams and I found some pretty tame ones to ease his mind. My exact reaction. The only bit I knew about this guy was from a Drew Gooden video, which is brilliant in itself, but he tries to keep it much lighter, so it stayed away from a lot of the more concerning details. This is very well done, a very terrifying picture of a person whose viewer base is largely children.

I mean we got our kid a tablet this year for long car rides and games to promote cognitive skills but there's been a couple of times even on CZcams kids where she's stumbled on weird stuff that makes me uncomfortable like adults playing with toys where I'm like fuck that maybe we should put on some Mickey mouse or something. My jaws on the floor. How did CZcams spawn basically the modern day equivilent of Charles Manson, for kids content. My younger siblings watched JayStation. To imagine any child attempting to open up anything living or stuffed creature to "see whats inside" kind of horrifying but I can't even imagine the look of horror on the parents face after realizing what their children are learning. Normally in reality, to even hint at someone or any group of people doing satanic rituals is kind of a joke in it of itself. But- god damn. WTF.

The idea that most of JayStation’s fans are literal nine-year-olds makes too much sense for how long he got away with this shit. This is why parents need to keep an eye on what their kids are watching, or at the very least, help them to understand what is and isn’t real.
Ah yes, I agree. They need a lot of support with that since children ages 9 (or maybe 10 I don't remember) and younger are quite literally incapable of distinguishing reality from fiction, and cannot see things beyong their own perspective. THis makes it so they cannot tell when someone is decieving them or is lying. So really low of Jaystation to take advantavge of these guys.

As a parent it's tough because you want your kid to be a kid as long as possible, you want them to believe in the impossible and make believe. You want to encourage their imagination and you want them to fight for what others think they're not capable of. Know what i mean? You dont want them to be manipulated and exploited for someone elses gain.... ugh... theres a fine line and as a parent its so hard to find that line and then figure out how to keep your kids on the right side of it. However, i dont think its youtubes responsibility to control that line, its our jobs as parents to keep up with our kids and instill good morals and ethics in them. Its just insanely hard to do so nowadays with so much information and content in the palm of their hands. Parents have to work twice as hard and unfortunately there are lazy, unbothered parents who dont care.... imo Jaystation is a product of said parents and now hes creating mini hims by exploiting kids who have parents like his. He found his niche, vulnerable kids... its sick.

@@nomdeplume2213 I watched horror and sci fi as a kid but I also watched a lot of begging the scenes stuff of how things were made and fully understood everything I was watching wasn’t real. It didn’t ruin the magic for me. If anything it increases my sense of wonder because being able to create entire worlds and beings and make them look real IS like magic. It sparked a lot of creativity in me and got me interested in film and the arts at a young age. I think you’re heavily monitoring what they watch or better watching with them you can not only see what they’re consuming but talk to them about it. A lot of parents genuinely do not care or want to learn about their kids interests in the slightest. They think everything their kid likes is inherently not worth their time because it’s too childish to be genuinely engaging or fun. I see so many parents complain about things like Fortnite but when you ask them what Fortnite even is or why their kids like it in the first place, they can’t answer.
I think the biggest mistake parents make these days is giving their kids their own devices in the first place. It’s one thing to have access to a device but it’s another to let them have their own. They also don’t actually bother to look into or watch anything their kids are interested in. Instead of parents watching Netflix and kids watching CZcams, parents should show interest in their kids interests and participate. I don’t think the issue is that it’s just so hard, but that it’s just so easy. Instead of actually having to put in the work it’s a lot easier to just give your kid a device and let them have at it.

Growing up I felt like it was an unreasonable restriction, but looking back on how much the internet destroyed my brain as a teen…I’m glad I didn’t also spend childhood glued to a screen. With the tech we had then, access to content like this or worse wasn’t something easily found by kids either. I am worried for the kids of the future.

Pretty soon your kid will try looking up that CZcamsr or website, and if you’re monitoring your kid’s viewing, you’ll catch on. Did anyone come away feeling horrible for the young kids that were so obviously influenced by Jaystation's content? Not just that but I feel like it sheds light on a larger problem, which is how it seems so many parents seem careless about observing their children's content and/or pre-screening the content before watching. Not saying it's necessarily easy to check EVERYTHING they search on CZcams and sure he's banned now but damn.. It's actually horrifying how children so young can be so easily influenced by the internet's biggest douchebag. I'm not a parent so I don't have much room to talk here, but it was actually depressing to think how many of those 6M followers were children who didn't have the awareness to know how despicable the content was. Imagine coming home to your child asking to talk to a dead grandparent at 3AM just bc they saw JS do it on YT - Not only would I feel ashamed of myself but I'd feel like a horrible parent in general.
what you are talking about here has always been happening with children. parents being inattentive and the child goes off on his or her own and ends up with the wrong crowd. but that has changed so quickly with the bad influences that a child could be protected from easily now being in their own home in the palm of their child's hand any hour of the day or night it is a larger problem that society has to adapt to but it will take its time. it just comes in different forms over different generations
Yea I mean it's tough, think of it this way: kids have nothing but free time. So while adults have about 12-16 hours full of activity every day with several hours of free time, kids can just spend all of that watching youtube videos. It's absolutely impossible to keep track of everything your child does online nowadays unless you're legit bringing them everywhere with you and keeping one eye on them, which is psychotic.
But yea when your kids are asking you to wake them up at 3 am, or asking for a kitchen knife so they can attack their possessed cookie monster doll, I'm gonna say that's pretty negligent parenting

I have their google accounts on my phone too, and can login their CZcams and look at their history, block channels, etc. And it's not hard. I saved a kid from jaystation. My ex's little brother watched him and I used my influence to get him to hate jaystation. The kid really looked up to me for some reason so I used the opportunity to teach him a lesson about how shitty of a person jaystation is.
Don't feel bad! Your kid will understand(and probably even appreciate) how involved you were in what they were consuming online as a child when they grow up. 7 years old is way too young to be freerange on pretty much any online platfrom with other people on it, it makes total sense to keep an eye out for your kid by monitoring what they're watching and I think all parents should try to foster a relationship where you're the person your kid goes to when they find something weird or unsavory so you can have a conversation about it.
as someone that grew unsupervised on the internet since my 9's, you are doing a great job, I was exposed to a LOT of the erly 2010's internet, wich meant it was not that homogenous and you could end up in some really messed up places, I only had some luck to not turn out as a psycopath or worse, but a child on the internet is like shootng a bullet in the dark, so keep up the good job caring for your child.

As someone who loves animals it was really upsetting to hear how people described his actions towards his cat, and its mysterious disappearance is all the more chilling. I picked pretty decent targets as a kid, and of course my parents kept me on track, but these kids have never known life without CZcams, and maybe their parents AREN'T keeping them on track as much as they should.
I watched the Nostalgia Critic a lot when I was 18 or 19, and he made me want to get into media criticism. Thankfully that never materialized, but maybe if I was a few years younger, I too would have a CZcams channel where I "remember it so you don't have to." We have all partaken in cringe at least once in our lives 😅 I'm just glad I have the luxury of forgetting most of it since videotaping every moment of your childhood wasn't normal in the late 90s/early 2000s.

He talks, somewhere, about how him doing something illegal and people making news about it in media is what sent him down the path he's doing now, where he finally got attention and views for doing immoral and bad things. They are safe in ponds and lakes because that’s what they have evolved to live in. Human skin is covered in foreign oils, skin products, and god knows what else. Even if you had totally clean hands, they’re still dry, which can irritate the frogs skin severely.

Sure doing so WILL irritate them, but they have perfectly well developed immune system and defense measures to resist whatever one-off offenses we do. Our hands may be dry, but frogs DO WALK through hot and dry surfaces, as harsh as it may be, and will be fine so long they find water again. And their skin of course can self-regulate if you touch it for a short minute, after all, it is an organ will cells that work just for that.
I am not defending Jaystation, definitely he mishandled the frog for who knows how long, but I am just curious if this is just overly dramatic as someone who studied biology myself (perhaps not in-depth amphibian biology).

I end up returning to watch this video time and time again. I love the editing, I love the material, how well it's put together. Would be a perfect documentary for Netflix. Also even though I only count as 1, I still hope to get this video to 10 million views, cause it damn well deserve it. Very very few youtubers put this much work into their content. But if we know youtube as it is, this video will be hidden in the shadows like so many other treasures out there.
As a former rat owner I can at least say the clips shown don't make it look like the rat was in pain, but that's the only consolation I can give the animal section made me sick. All of it did, I had to resist skipping parts of this fantastic video to avoid hearing more of Jay's voice.
The frog was especially distressing, at least to me. That poor creature.

there’s something both endearing and tragic in watching these kids. what stands out to me is how they film themselves: they speak quietly or even whisper, which to me says they’re taking a risk by filming/posting their responses, but it’s worth getting grounded if it’s to save/impress jaystation! one apologized after ‘stealing’ his intro, and it was rly cute how another kid clarified ‘I’m still me, I’m just pretending.’ his fans seem rly rly sweet and they deserve/d far far better than this

what kind of maniac fakes a seizure to entertain a 6-year-old? What stands out to me is that the ones who don't film themselves quietly and whisper are the real little ones yelling that they love him and are obviously not holding the camera. It appears that in some of these situations, a sibling or parent is filming and uploading them for their own clout chasing. To say it's disgraceful is an understatement.
