Wow awesome
is there a follow up episode?
Instablaster...
When will this b dates and where to find it I would subscribe and pay for 23 series and rest of 22
Love to see that rebuild of the ACE motor cycle.
Mike's smile as he's rollin' the Ace out....like a little boy getting his first two wheeler on his birthday! Pretty awesome.
That's unbelievable ace are the best
I love this show - what would be cool is for the guys to do a spin off show - like “ wheeler dealers “ but where we get to see them restore these purchases .
Send them over to Danny and Richard for build-offs!
I agree, it would be nice to see what he is getting for the stuff that he buys after he refurbishes them or not. He gives top dollar for most of his stuff and would like to see if he's getting it back on the other end of the deal. Got to imagine that he loses a lot on the things he buys because he is so honest and gives top dollar not like pawn stars or those type of businesses that are just looking to rip people off...
Any follow up?! We want to see the restoration!
Seems like it should be it's own show
I wouldn't be surprised if that ace cost them 85k to restore
But that's a 300k bike all done up for Jay Leno lol
Wake up they don't care about thebike it's about the money
@@jamesmiller7992 These guys leave the rust on the motorcycles any bikes they restore would never sell for $300k lol they sold the junk bike for a crazy $70k
man this makes my heart beat and brings a smile to my face. Love to see this stuff get a new life.
Wishing a speedy recovery to Frank ! God Speed man !
What happened?
@@jorgesalinas9429 He had a stroke.
Meanwhile on Pawn Stars....I'll give you $500 bucks and I'm taking all the risk!
I gotta get it framed
Do you think mike and frank are paying full retail? By percentage rick is paying more than they are.
Hahaha exacexactly
you did know a fully restored Ace goes around $300 - 350k .... yeah parts are hard to find but you still find em putting 100k on that bike they earned a 100 - 150k doesn't compare to pawnstar this guys are real hustlers.
@@masterchiefy830 But how LONG does it take? Were they going for that much when this was filmed? It's a a business if you don't like it, don't watch
I have to say that I like this programme and the two guys in it. I also respect the fact that they are prepared to pay a fair price - sometimes even more than what the seller thinks its worth!
In the UK we have a show called 'Salvage Hunters' which is kind of similar, except the main character, a guy called Drew, who comes across as a pretty humourless bloke who always seem to want to pay peanuts for valuable items with the excuse of having to 'do some work' on it (often little more than a wipe down with a damp cloth). They also focus too much on old lamp fittings and tatty furniture.
Mike and Frank come across as genuinely good blokes - still with an eye for business - but have warmth about them when dealing with people.
They have similar show in Canada called Canadian Pickers pretty entertaining as well
I had the same cheesy grin when I got my Indian Four. I still get the same grin when riding it.
I'd like to see a full experience moving forward with those onto the out come.. Awesome!!✌
Please keep us posted on the ACE! Such a cool piece of American history!
Feels like I've been waiting forever for more American Pickers
I agree where r ya'll I'm a Hugh fan
great show ! i used to watch it with my mom until she passed in 2019... haven't watched since, god bless america
I iiiiii love this show oh wow , what a collections amazing , thanks to History tv for this kind of shows, restoration shows, wow amazing, one’s again thanks to History tv 💐💐💐
Incredible..... what a find
Insane collection
Stunning bike. Unique story
Love this show!
Not at this level, but I see it a lot when people amass a collection but time doesn't stand still.
I tried to buy a welded aluminum boat off of a guy once. It sat in his parent's backyard for over 20 years. I finally stuck a deal and took it off of his hand.
I've been trying to buy a class B motor home for cheap off of another guy for over 17 years now but he won't sell. He claims that someday he'll restore it along with two other cars just sitting there in the driveway rotting away. In that 17 years, I've bought and restored five boats!
I laugh when someone takes them to see their 'collection'. They open a door and the room is filled with junk that hasn't been toughed for years.
Bugged my boss for years about a 59 Alfa Romeo that he had in his barn, decrepit, told him just keep my checks til' you're happy, made decent cash offers, etc. He aways gave the same response, "Nah, I'm gonna do somethin' with that someday." Went out one day to keep the bug in his ear, and find out that he owed somebody a measly 300 bucks and just let them take it. That was 36 years ago, and I still think about it and sigh.
They were happy to get over $90k in the bank. The oldman' s stuff is the son's retirement fund
when is someone going to walk in and offer you 85,000 for stuff you're never going to touch. thanks for lottery win
Exactly. People need to really ask themselves if they're ever going to finish any of these projects. I understand they want max money but realistically they're never going to touch the stuff or even finish it.
But it was inheritance. And could easily sold. Little effort. :) But yeah some things they buy and pawn stars. Im like who the heck is going to buy that stupid thing.
I would have started at 65000
@@nobody617 but it's just junk
@@natashabegley1346 You really have no clue what your talking about! Did you even watch the video? They are very rare, historical and valuable items worth thousands of dollars! So, clearly its not junk! lol! They are professionals, who have alot of knowledge on the collectibles they buy! They also, have connections with experts, historians and other very knowledgeable people, who they speak with before ever purchasing anything!
Hey Mike, i have been looking most of my life for one like my childhood bicycle , it was a Schwinn male with the bar across from seat to old style handlebar. Black and taller than anything i have ever seen. I had to ride up to our 2 foot high curb to get off of it. Do you think you can identify the year it was made? Have you ever seen one? How much are they worth now? Thank you for your wonderful show!
I think this showed should be followed with restoration works carried on these
Fantastic pick and all will go to better home.
I agree with that guy, Zane, on how his dad had too many projects. He certainly was a passionate collector but having that many potential projects is far more than someone could easily handle.
Ouch but what a wonderful awesome OUCH !!!
Phenomenal
Excellent👍👏👏👏👏
Just Woooooo what a deal guys 👍👍👍
Very good show
Did you hear about the time that Mike ran over Frank with a bus?
Yeah, Danielle threw Frank down. And Mike ran him over.
Man I'd love to have some of those cars
You couldn't pry a smile on that ladies face
Wow nice.👍👍👍
This was A Gold Mine
👍👍😎awesome deal !
Mike's energy HAS to be real! You just feel it when he stumble across a motorcycle or bike he really loves!! :)
Nothing is like seeing Mike an Fran together.
Awesome
$85,000! I bought a 2 bedroom condo in Las Vegas for less than that. A lot less!
They need to start a bike building shop!
When are Mike and Frank coming to Australia (seeing that they've alredy been to Italy snd England)?Great show all the same.
If they took a trip to Nabiac, it would blow their minds
@Scraps G Everone's entitled to thier opinion.
@Scraps G 👍
With everything going on down there??? Pifft!
@@daviclar867 Fair enough. It's not just Australia though.
👍👍nice!
It’s funny to me how frank acts like he has any stake in any of this. Lol
He owns half
Really miss the Batman and Robin of AMERICAN PICKERS 😢 AKA Mike and FRANK ...For me the Dynamic Deuo ...or the Two Sides Of the Same COIN 🪙 Happy Days 🙂Together ❤
yeah! 👌
I was kind of shocked that they had to borrow money .I figured it's 17 Seasons you would have had a pretty good pile of it by now and all the deals they made and sold.
Wow!!!
verry good
My favorite shoe heck yeah 😎
I like how they have to act like they don't have 85,000 dollars.
“Take a line of credit of 40k” yeah okay kid just write the check out of the business account.
I’d really like to see what came of the bikes they got on this pick
Flipped!
That Ace is cool...
I went to a high end Auction and seen one properly restored go for $205,000 never seen one again until I watched this episode
Cool 👍
I love this show but annoyed sometimes when people who don’t even know what they have or what it’s worth want big bucks and complain! Or even worse won’t sell anything! 🇨🇦
Just like the royal Enfield motorcycle Co of 1968 -1970. And they say they won't make the intercepter 736 cc.
Thats pocket money for them Lol
Nice to bad Frankie's not with the show anymore I'm not watching anymore it's not the same ...wish them all the luck though.
B.S. these guys need a line of credit for 40k? His credit card limit is more than that. Gotta amp up the drama.
I can’t believe what these vintage motorcycles bring dollar wise, and none of them ran and needed lots more money spent on them.
Lost treasure 🙏🏾✊🏾
Oh you would!! Lol. 2:11
See I like these dudes they dnt beat people in the head like pawn stars do
Wowwwww,The Johnny Cash special!!!
Did Mike get the Ace going and is their video on it?
They buy stuffs at unrealistic prices sometimes. Makes me doubt sometimes.
85 Thousand omg
cool
I would definitely pay that for those bikes if I had a place to put it. & I had the $ there going to get way more for it than what they spent on those bikes. Not to mention they will have the opportunity to ride them for a while before selling them. Great deal.
85k was high bit it was a number that was good enough to wow the buyers. 75-80k would've still work.
I watched American Pickers for many years but quit when Frank was let go, a nice way of saying fired. I always prefered Frank's modest attitude compared to Mike's often talking down to Frank. If Frank ever starts a show bet your boots l'll watch but not American Pickers ever again.
Thought this said American pickle
I have a 1977 Puch moped Maxi
They realy should have done more close to 70
For the expenses and other costs
For 85 or 90 they would have to get 125 to get a decent margen
85,000 of course he will take it.
Not lost at all. In the bank
Is it cash & carry?
They've come along way from buying old posters and coffee cans
Who would’ve thought, that these long time friends would split up, and frank would have a stroke
They could have gotten all that stuff for a lot less. Why didn't they ask the guy how much he wanted for certain things first? That guy and his mother really celebrated after they left.
I mean I wonder how many aces are really out there from what I understand there's only one possibly two besides this one that are known
How do they pay for this stuff? Cash? Wire? 🤔
They being paid for the show
@Jimmythy I lol right his secret drug stash of of cash lol
@Jimmythy I 😂
I've watched mike pull 30 out of a bank bag like it was nothing.
Cashier's check?
That's funny because Rick, from pawn stars would only give him about $5000.
Why didn’t you guys let him say what he wanted and go from there.. he could of been sitting a lot lower. Crazy money but great history
I would trade every bike I have and crawl through broken glass for that Ace.
those men are very brave touching that rusty metal with no gloves on
Rust? That's pure gold!
👍👍👍
Makes you wonder if somebody was hired to hit the owner of Ace because they were out doing all the competition
OMG, that guy let an ACE go for only $45k. The guys over at Wheels through time must be taking gas.
This show was shot like 15 years ago.
they'll just put it up for auction and make double the money
They just pick up some of the green to get there money back.
i would of asked for their offer first
No counter offer ? I would have said $95 , and ended up at $90k .
Why would they need a loan? I mean they still need to make good business decisions but the money they're raking in on the show, they should be able to take a total loss on a $85,000 purchase and not feel it.
85k should be plenty to fix the car.
It's amazing they cost like modern cars today and they're junk....yet. Wow!
85k? I wouldn't even pay 8.5k! LMAO
then you are a moron. Those bikes were already worth way more than that. Just the Ace Restored and at auction will sell for over $100k easy.
