      MJ has no equal. Jordan had an entire career of games where he looked as good as he did in this video. Nobody in today's game looks like he did with the ball in his hands. There are a lot of guys that can drop 50 points, but none of them look like they have the skill, athleticism, and arsenal of shots that Jordan did.

      @@jackastor5265 there’s a Goat comparison video where a guy did side by side in every category and only one LJ wins is longevity and that’s probably because of all the new technology they have plus the game is no where near as physical. Also MJ played 80 games in 10 season and all 82 games in 8 season. LJ has only played 80 games twice and 82 games once. There’s no comparison between the two because MJ had no weaknesses while u can’t say the same with LB. yes LB has a better field goal percentage at 50.7 but MJ was 49.8 and most of his shots were beyond 3ft while
      Most of JB shots are 0-3ft. LJ shots 35-37% beyond 3ft. LJ took higher percentage shots and had no where near the mid range game as MJ its not even close and in the playoffs and in the clutch the gap is even wider. MJ was a pure winner period.

Now a days the way the league is and players basically can’t play defense every team has a player that can take over a game. MJ dominated when the league actually had defense and scoring over 85 points was a high scoring game, today’s 110-120 is like an average game. Nice! You know why they almost always have someone smaller on MJ? It's because MJ is too fucking fast. Anyone bigger and he'd blow by them for an easy layup (you know how amazing he is at layups). So they'd rather put someone fast on him, and give him the shot instead of a drive. But too bad MJ is a phenomenal shooter too lmao. He just takes what his opponent gives him. In this case he's just gonna keep shooting over a smaller guy.

      Yup, exactly. That's what happened to Kobe. Kobe said in an interview that he was guarding Jordan out on the perimeter. But before he was able to react, Jordan had already blown past him on the baseline and drove to the basket for a layup. Kobe said he knew the drive was coming, but he was still unable to react to it in time. Kobe said it's one thing to see those moves on tv, but it is quite another thing to experience it first hand. Little known fact: Jordan shot over 38% from three in each of the playoffs during the first threepeat: 1991, 1992 & 1993. And he shot 40% from three in each of those NBA Finals. Shooting threes isn't a skill you can simply turn on and off when you feel like it. Either you can make threes or you can't. Jordan could make threes whenever he chose to!

    • @Zarkarian64
      @Zarkarian64 Před 2 lety +3

      And that's the point! Why on earth would you be concerned about 3pt's when your game, in general, is all about unleashing an Arsenal! Everyone treats 3pt's as if it was the wheel, when for Jordan it was nothing more than one of its spokes. At the end of the day the only thing they are choosing is noise over substance.
      I offer this mere snippet as to why LeBron will never, ever threaten MJ's "earned" legacy: czcams.com/video/DqEN69obvF0/video.html
      At one point [1:41] Anderson shakes off Jordan and in the process he DD's. Jordan literally takes the time to stop playing, look at the ref as if to say, "Why aren't you doing your job!?", only to then go back to the game and proceed to block the guy anyway.
      I'm only a year younger than Jordan, watched most of his games in real-time, ...not UTube and can honestly attest that what you see in this clip was nothing more than an "in general", ...day at the office, ...run of the mill games for Jordan. If anything, this is why ticket sales went through the roof at nearly every game he played. And don't be ridiculous enough to think I was talking about the Bulls' home games.

    Think about this - the Knicks, usually gave Jordan especially, all he could handle with excellent defense and he routinely torched them. Regular season AND playoffs. But John Starks was considered one of the few guys in the league who could "guard" Jordan - meaning he'd sometimes keep him under 35 - 40 points😆. But seriously, those Pat Riley led Knicks teams would have won at least one ring if Jordan hadn't existed.

This was also before the 3 point line was moved in a little bit in 95, 96 , and 97. Jordan could shoot the 3. 😉 Also Jordan was a very good free throw shooter. He averaged usually between 80% to 84% I believe but in this series he was averaging 89% from the free throw line.
